it's really a great game in my opinion and a lot of fun for me.. but I admit the controls are one the main attractions. with dual analog (and that's what you'll get with MW2 turtlelink) it wouldn't be the same.
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...
@turtlelink Keep in mind that the online mode for the Conduit is more or less totally broken for most people. If you're looking for an online game to hold you over this probably isn't the best bet.

I totally agree. I'd say that your best bet for an online shooter on wii is probably Modern Warfare: Reflex. The graphics aren't that great compared to HD systems but they do get the job done, but on the bright side the game runs really well and the gameplay of the online is intact with all the features.
If they included all of the multiplayer maps from The Conduit 1 in the sequel in addition to loads of new ones.

Wow, it actually seems like its going to be an awesome game!!!!!!!!! I never actually got around to playing the first one but this one I will definitely be giving a try. Does anyone know if the suit upgrades and the character classes are available on Wi-Fi MUltiplayer?
they really need to start from scratch, the way red steel 2 did. i'd much rather see them make better maps than use the just-ok ones from the first game. there really isn't a single one that stands out as being very good in my memory.
my big hope is that they put some enemies in the walls, so you have something to shoot when you get stuck there
Well it depends how good the new ones would be. My favourite has to be Pentagon on the first game. Every weapon is effective on that map.

I've been replaying the original in single player game and I quite like it
The graphics are decent, though later levels are far better designed and more visually appealing, action is fast and furious though. Weapon selection good but not outstanding with decent AI of the enemies.
I wish there were a little more variety in the enemies and more bigger badder boss fights.
Adding exploration via the ASE is an action shooter was ok at first then became frustrating having to point the thing all around the environment especially when it goes off (alarm sound) when your mid fighting.
Did anyone else begin to find the ASE annoying?
Add some better level design, more bosses, enemies, wepons (perhaps big gun turrets) and destructible scenery would make me very happy.
More details and screenshots, I liked the first conduit aslong as they don't mess up anything then I will make a purchase.
Just remembered some of the aliens reminded me of Zoanoids from the anime Guyver
I still think I will find the grinder more enjoyable due to the subject matter, sci-fi alien designs and behaviour are usually very hit n miss (hated the silly Halo smaller aliens in the conduit).
They should rip-off some Zoaniods and Aliens (the films) character designs
Looks like theyre fixing the issues with the first one though, all good signs.
