Please disregard IGN's review, guys. Granted it took me about 30-45 minutes, but I managed to tweak my controls so I don't experience any 'cursor lag' or aiming problems (aside from my typical aiming problems

The graphics aren't spectacular (which does take away from the spectacle of single player, since graphics are mostly what it had going for it to begin with), but the game plays great and the online is excellent. As for framerate issues.....well, this is coming from IGN, who didn't mention the fact that The Conduit's online was laggy, framey, and had HORRIBLE cursor lag when playing in games with more than 6 people.

I'll cut Bozon some slack, since he did review extensively MW2 so OBVIOUSLY his opinion would be very skewed, but I won't cut his slack for his omission of stating this fact.
He played a considerable amount of MW2 prior to this review and should've stated it so everyone know his opinion is still his, but it's skewed.

Roomate has CODMW2 so graphics definitely look weak on this...

however after watching all of Dazran's videos (instead of studying for a test, thanks dazran ;P haha) I definitely think this game looks worth the money... I've been looking for a great multiplayer wii game and I think I may land on this. I'm guessing everyone with it recommends it?

I know itll drop in price if i can wait a month or two but im worried the online community may drop off by then too...

I do not think the online will be going anywhere anytime soon. With World at War selling 1.2 million for Wii, I am wondering how much Modern Warfare's total sales are going to be on the Wii. If I was to rate it I would give it an 9 out of 10. The single player is great and the online is a blast. A lot of people were upset there was no Wii Speak but I am glad there is none as I do not want to hear other people rambling and talking during a match (unless they make it an option to where you do not have to listen to it that is).

Well from the sounds of it this game is every bit as good if not better than World at War, there's just no hype about it because its so overshadowed by MW2.

I'm on The Bog in Campaign so far and I must say Treyarch did a hell of a job.

This game graphically looks like crap. Sounds like it retains all the gameplay of the original though. What are some of the more exciting multiplayer modes?

The Conduit is $30 on amazon now so I've been thinking about getting that. I rented it and graphics were quite good except for some inconsistencies and multiplayer was great except for the bug that messes up your starting a match

I have not hardly play any Call of Duty games. I'm intrested in buying either Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2, or Modern Warfare:Reflex. It depends on how much money I have [which I currently don't have]. I do have Call of Duty Classic on PSN, so soon I'm going to play that to see if I like a COD game. While I personally think Reflex's graphics look meh, it actually looks more fun than The Conduit, and I enjoyed The Conduit.

IGN is talking crap, the game is great.

Get the real game instead of the toned down version, if you decide to get one at all.

I really want to get this game! But with New Super Mario Bros and Zelda coming out it might have to wait until next year. Hopefully if this sells well we'll get MW2!
