Topic: Will you get the Deluxe, Basic, or ZombieU(EU only) Wii U bundle?

If you don't want NintendoLand or won't be downloading retail games, there's no reason to get it. 8 and 32 gigs are both just about equally worthless when it comes to full games, both will pretty much require an external hard drive. However, those who will be downloading games should get the deluxe just for the discounts. I do want NintendoLand and plan on downloading most of my games so deluxe for me

22 more gigs for $50 more doesnt sound bad

Pre-ordered the deluxe yesterday. The basic model is pretty worthless IMO. Why not pay an extra $50 and get a game, more memory and some extra accessories with it? Not unless you just don't have the extra $50.

That and black is awesome. Kinda wished both versions had both colors though, but ah well, whatever.

So basically, it's $300 for the 8GB version and $350 for the 32GB version.

8GB = $300

24GB more = Only $50 more?

The flash memory is just one component of the console. This isn't like buying an SD card or USB flash drive where the memory is all you are buying. You are buying a game console that just happens to have some flash memory in it, along with a bunch of other stuff.

...And Nintendo Land....and stands...and chargers...

Ha. Love these mini polls. Deluxe for sure. Cool strategy from Nitty. Realistically, most adopters will go for the more expensive better spec'd deluxe version. However when the media reports on the cost of the new WiiU system they will mention the lower priced 'Basic set'. Nice.

yea unless you preorder the console, it is highly unlikly that you will get one before xmas....
as stores are or just about to run out of their alotment of consoles

Deluxe. I'd like it if the deluxe version came in white too, but whatever.

If you want the WiiU, better preorder it now. I think everywhere is out of the deluxe model but most places are still offering the basic. Better pick one of those up ASAP.

You can't pre-order a Deluxe Wii U unless it's from Walmart, and you have to get other stuff with it. GameStop, Toys R Us, and Best Buy are sold out of Deluxe.

I want a deluxe model. I hope I can find one.

I've decided to preorder the Basic Bundle (since all the Deluxe ones are sold out...) and see if I can be put on a waiting list for Deluxe or ask if I can divert the money to the Deluxe when the system actually comes out.
