Booted up the game after updating, first thing it did when I went to load the game, and if froze on DK Crash Course. Deleting the network settings solved the problems. Then went onto MiiVerse and some were suggesting to install the update again... which I did and it hasn't done it again. Who knows. Hopefully it doesn't happen again but it's definitely not "fixed".

Had I known how expansive Nintendo Land was, I might've only got that. Money is tight so I'm mostly waiting for Christmas, but I didn't think I could squeeze enough multiplayer out of Nintendo Land (I was wrong) and bought NSMBU. ZombiU is also at the top of my list but that's for Christmas, along with probably a few more games.
