ok so since i havent seen any post like this i thought i make one if its in the wrong place let me know =/

but i was hoping we could all talk about the wii u experience from launch day going to pick it up how it went and stuff like how long did you have to wait in line? getting home and setting the console up and trying out the features which ones you like and which you dont... what games you trying or if your going to wait till the holiday to open it etc etc so its like the big community sharing the adventure of that day... cheesy much? xD

a bit early but good idea im in uk so not out until the 30th so you americans better give me some good details

No one will be here after they get a Wii U. They will all be on Miiverse.

It may be days before most people would reply as they will be too busy on the Wii U.

I'll share my thoughts... if I can pull myself away from my new Wii U.

They are both so relaxing!

I'm camping on Friday for the game, hoping I can get my hands on one. Mostly because where I live everyone pre ordered in a matter of hours.

Wow. the Mii Maker music sounds gorgeous. Sounds like it could come right out of a Zelda game, especially around 0:30.

Anyways! I might be a little late to the Wii U unboxing party if I can't get my Panny' 50" Plasma in time. There's no way
I'm hooking this up to my current 32" SDTV. Besides I'd have to buy a pair of Wii U component cables seeing as how my SDTV obviously doesn't support HDMI, even then....I'd be missing out on 720HD, ProgressiveScan and widescreen ect. May be a week after launch, or possibly trickling into Dec.

Still trying to find either the panny S30 or ST30(lowest input lag for any Panny plasma) and then I'm set. Need to phone around a bit more to see if there are any places that even sell last years stock, if not i'm snaging a refurbished 50" S30 online, and that's THAT! Ya love it!

@Waveboy I just noticed that your avatar shows a fish riding the wave that is supposedly an eyebrow. Why is that?

Slightly more on topic: I'm looking for a new TV as well, could you please tell me why I'm better of buying a Panasonic?

Surely there's gonna be a slightly washed-out color or a flicky gamma reproduction and a dead pixel that just drives you insane because thats the only thing you can focus on haha!

I care more about button response rather than a Pretty HD picture.
All of these HDTV's are riddled with input lag, but i know which ones are top dog in this area. The Panasonic 09' LX1(27",32", & 37") 720p LCD(1.5ms to 6ms) is the lowest period. I'm getting one IF i can find one online just for kicks....But not for a main display.They're limmited in size, plus i need deeper blacks which is where the S30 comes in. it's said to be 1 frame/16ms which i'm guessing is the case when using component cables. HDMI tends to introduce more lag a lot of time. On another note....Must....Get....a pair of wireless Audiophile Sennheiser RS170 or RS180 headphones. I'm tired of dealing with a wire, especially when it's trickling against my neck haha. The HD595's are still an amazing pair of cans.

I think it's a great idea to share the Wii U experience on Nov.18th!!! I will be here to chime in on my experiences. I will play for brief sessions and report in lol!
