I was thinking what would be cool to see on the Wii U some of my ideas.

Retro Nintendo Land - A game where you have classic Nintendo games all on one disc one land has a Arcade full of NES games the other SNES then N64 games. Collect stamps on each of the games like Nintendo Land for getting a high score or completing a level & collect medals.

Wii Sports Club - Released on Wii U physical disc with all the sports.

Bayonetta - Released on Wii U physical disc.

Gamecube games on the virtual console along with some remakes of Gamecube games in HD.

Gameboy advance games released on virtual console if I remember rightly might have been said about in a Nintendo Direct.

More games on the virtual console in general.

Cheaper download prices compared to physical copies.

Nintendo TVii released in Europe.

F Zero a new game made for Wii U.

Feel free to share anything you'd like to see on the Wii U or what you think on my above ideas?

I would loooooove a new F-Zero, especially if Nintendo can get the F-Zero GX devs back together to make it happen.

I'd also love a new Metroid Prime game, from Retro of course. That gamepad was pretty much made to play 3D Metroid.

Cheaper downloads would be a sweet idea. Nintendo's gotta consider that people had to pay to buy an external drive in order to go that route, so they should at least save a few bucks on their games.

Also I think Nintendo should combine Virtual Console games into a single app, and sell them as DLC. That would likely encourage people to buy more games as they wouldn't crowd up their Wii U menu. Nintendo would also be able to speed up the release process as they wouldn't need an individual store page for each and every game.

I'd really love a sequel to the prime trilogy, that would be incredible. I can only imagine the graphics and game-pad integration. Also a new luigi's mansion from next level would be great to see, they did a fab job with 2. Also an advance wars for Wii U would be great. With those the U's library would be complete, well from a 2nd party point of view

CM30

Gamecube games on Virtual Console

New Zelda game with HD graphics in a similar style to Twilight Princess + giant overworld + orchestrated music.

Luigi's Mansion 3, at some distant point

A real WarioWare

A Mario Party game, because it's basically made just for the Game Pad.

F-Zero and Star Fox games

An epic new 3D Metroid game like Metroid Prime

A third Donkey Kong Country (at one point), complete with Kremlings and other Kongs. Make it like a second trilogy.

And that's just the semi plausible stuff. Less plausible? I want Rare to return and something like Banjo Kazooie 3.

What CM30 said plus:

Eternal Darkness 2
1080 (with 2 player balance board)
Waverace (with new sports and bb suport)
RE7 as a proper horror that uses the Gamepad in a scary way
South Park Stick of Truth
A proper Pilotwings (not some motion controlled experiment)
A new Link's Crossbow training and Zapper
Link's Swordplay training (similar to above but a hack'n'slash challenge game with Skyward Sword controls)
Saturn and Dreamcast or just Sega AM2/3 games on VC
XIV

I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.

Is saying "Everything" a cop-out?

Because I want everything on all platforms (barring exclusives like Mario, Uncharted, and Halo).

I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite

1. Further Miiverse integration and profile customisation abilities:
Possibly whereupon your Miiverse account is laid out in a similar fashion to the Animal Crossing profile system, with your Mii character idling about on the left-hand side whilst all notifications/information/posts are scrollable against the right-hand side. This would also be a wonderful way to further customise your Mii character/profile with additional clothing or background wallpapers/colour schemes

2. Stamp Achievement System:
It's already getting filtered in through "Super Mario 3D World"/Animal Crossing. Though if Nintendo were to fully integrate the stamp system through all their games as a form of creative Miiverse-orientated achievement system it could definitely make for a more compelling online environment. Whereupon those with "rare" stamps would consistently be able to flaunt them throughout their drawings and Miiverse posts

I would really like to have a unified account system. If I were to obtain another Wii U, it would be nice to transfer ALL of my data to another console.

Also, the ability to use the gamepad controls for VC titles in Wii mode.

A 2D platforming Metroid game, that is like an ULTRA-MEGA- SUPER- Super Metroid, With upgradable weapons. Sigh... that will probably never be, though.
A new Star Fox game would be awesome. Maybe one where Fox needs to team up with Star Wolf.
I'd love to see a new Mario Game, similar to Galaxy/64/ even Sunshine with the free camera (and of course, Luigi).
If the VC released a slew of games, I think that would be a plus.
Sega and Nintendo are getting quite chummy. Nintendo should adopt Sega as a 2.5-party; not 100% 2nd party, but not 100% third party.

As crazy as it sounds considering the last title, I'd really like the next Metroid to be produced in Japan and by Sakamoto. I'm not the biggest fan of Other M, but I think it's always a mistake to think that an author totally misunderstood his own brainchild. The least we can do is just give it a chance and see if Other M will lead to new possibilities. I mean, we always judge authors on a game by game basis, which is not really fair, so I really hope to see more of Metroid according to Sakamoto in the future.

Of course my impossible dream would be to see Nintendo helping out Suzuki with Shenmue 3. I personally think a Nintendo audience would make a nice, smart crowd for the serie, and it would be in line with Nintendo's ethics of making a deep game with non-astronomical budgets (the first two Shenmue's might have been dear...but it was more than 10 years ago, and I'm sure the third one won't be that expensive to make with modern day technology).

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

Oh boy ..where do I start :/ ?? lol

-Super Mario 64 sequel (at least a game in the style of SM64, doesn't need to be a true sequel, one that plays and feels like it, such as the moves, tight controls, and overall gameplay mechanics); true open, 3D Mario game with 2-player, asymmetrical co-op (Mario and Luigi respectfully --> TV player + GamePad player simultaneous asymmetrical play), which would open up to whole new possibilities of local co-operative, as well as competitive, play; they could add some challenges like 'race to collect the Stars/coins'...etc
>adding to this point, they could keep it with more characters, such as the way it was for SM64DS, with Yoshi and Wario, but keep it solely two-player co-op, since two different screens are required ..what I mean by this, is make it that you can switch between the characters accordingly, kinda like in GTA V
> basically, a more in-depth, immersive and story-orientated 3D co-op multiplayer Mario game (no flag poles, timers, questions-block-galore, and all those great 2D Mario elements)

-same goes for a 3D Donkey Kong game; style of DK64, but with improvements over the frustrating 'mistakes' from that game, which I'm sure the devs have learned from
>I would love to see multiple Kongs back in 3D action, and this would perfectly introduce some multiplayer co-op, preferably similar to what I described I would like for a 3D Mario multiplayer, with two players tackling missions and solving puzzles asymmetrically (TV + GamePad), where one player could be in..letsay Frantic Factory, and the other could be in Gloomy Galeon for example (place holder sake), as well as both players could be in the same locations ..however they decide to take on the tasks

-I could say the same for Banjo and Conker, so I guess I'm a sucker for those kinds of open-world, collectathon games Conker would perfectly appeal to a mature audience however
>these Rare suggestions are most likely never going to happen, but I'm allowed to wish

-Luigi's Mansion for Wii U; no ports, remakes, anything of that sort, just a true, new Luigi's Mansion game in full HD 8)

-we need a deviation of the New Super Mario Bros. series, at least for one or two titles; not taking anything away from NSMB, as they are very creative (someone here mentiond "not creative", but I disagree with that term), but they play it safe and very true to tradition ahem SMB, so therefore we need some Mario World inspired Mario titles, or Mario Land: 6 Golden Coins inspired
>I would love to see them play around with different visuals, such as how some of the levels in NSMB U looked like a van Gogh painting, but the characters and the rest of the game had that generic, shiny look (which is well polished and appealing, but it's time for some change), so they could try different art styles and visual direction all within one game, similar to Shadow Play Alley for SM3DW, have some levels be an oil painting, another level silhouettes...etc.

-a Yoshi's Story styled game, but I guess Yarn Yoshi counts as that, so I'm all set there

-I wouldn't mind seeing the likes of GTA on the Wii U

-Super Mario Sunshine sequel ..well, I would actually prefer it on the 3DS, what with all the water-spraying and sparkly visuals (would be fitting), but I guess we'd need to wait for the next Nintendo handheld iteration with two circle pads to come ..unless they cleverly work around that like they did for Dark Moon

-a good ol', classic Wario game eventually down the road (they should also remaster Virtual Boy's Wario Land for the 3DS, respectively)

-I would like to, as I'm expecting, to see some N64 and GameCube titles to come to the VC sometime soon, have some simple HD upgrades as well for some of the more 'main' titles
>what I don't want, is the GameBoy Advance VC on the Wii U; something like that strictly belongs on a handheld imo (unless it comes for both 3DS and Wii U, in that case w/e ..I want it on the 3DS anyway, so yea)

-Star Fox in style of Star Fox 64

-I wouldn't mind a seeing a new IP (if pulled off correctly and marketed to the point of guaranteed popularity to ensure sustainability), one that truly
>also, if Nintendo could make an amazing 1st party arcade racer, maybe with crisp, cel-shaded visuals, and and awesome, pumping soundtrack, then it could surely prove to be able to compete with Gran Turismo and the likes; something Miyamoto has brilliantly done with Pikmin, a genre taken from the more mature and darker games seen on PCs and other platforms, such as Diablo and Starcraft, and made it 'Nintendo-like' ..ahh, I miss those 90's arcade racers

-speaking of racing games, I wouldn't mind me some Diddy Kong Racing U
>now, we already have Mario Kart, and it would be great if we see some of the DKR elements in a MK game, but then again, it would REALLY have to be pulled off correctly if they were to add a more immersive, story-based kart racer to the MK series; a series true to its foundation, releasing extremely fun and accessible games for everyone to enjoy, so Mario Kart would have a lot to lose if they attempted something like that, and I certainly am satisfied with the racing game Mario Kart has come to be and remained all these years
>so either an optional story campaign for a Mario Kart game sometime down the road (when they run out of ideas..I mean, anti-gravity ..what's next?? lol), or a brand new Diddy Kong Racing rebirth in HD 8-D !!

-last but not least, Zelda U to be what they have made it out it will be; a massive, open, and expansive new Zelda experience, with more free-roaming and general freedom than previous Zeldas (Between Worlds is going in the right direction with this, but on a clearly more miniature, accessible and to-go scale), as well as a lot less, to none, hand-holding ..although partner/sidekick still allowed
>this is more of an expectation rather than a wish, as they have already declared a lot of these aspects to be present in the next console Zelda, so I can't help but raise my hype level
>one thing I would wish to see in Zelda U, however, is that it utilizes a lot of past-game mechanics, such as sailing, seen in Wind Waker, and soaring on a Lofwing, as well as riding Epona ..and no, not a tiny, little section of the game, like in SS with the desert ocean, but I mean where you have like half the WW islands to visit for example
>another thing I'm hoping for, is the choice between motion controls and traditional controls, I know that this is a lot of work for devs, but it is the only way to appease everyone, and I'm a fan of the motion controls introduced in SS, therefore I would love for these to be expanded on and polished up; more directions (not just standard 8 direction), and more precision

-NO Majora's Mask for Wii U like people wish, rather on the 3DS (for logical reasons)!

-oh, also ..TVii for Europe

These are my personal wants and would likes I could think of at the moment, explained in somewhat of greater detail
