alright i think i'm not alone when i say i was genuinely dissapointed when i founded out that dragon ball xenoverse was not coming to wii u. this isn't the first time this has happened. we have seen multiplatform releases avoid wii or wii u many times before. we are still yet to get a valve game on a nintendo console. as well as great indie games like dust:and elysian tail or spelunky that aren't coming to wii u. this sickens me. nintendo really hasn't been doing so well lately with marketing and yet they still refuse ton attempt to boost it. somebody please explain to me why this is? i know it might take them maybe a few extra weeks or so to program the gamepad screen but how hard could that be? can't it just be a map like pretty much every other game goes for?
Is this a joke? Are you having a chuckle? Haha, very funny. I'm the one with a degree

I seen this thread made many times,so i'll give the easiest answer possible. On why we don't have third party support or why developers don't makes games for the console.Cause it's not profitable enough there's nothing else to say about that. But yes we know they can use the gamepad in so many ways, but in reality who will buy it?No one. Why would any developer take time on port for a console, they know damn well won't sell enough. Granted the Wiiu got bad ports, like Watch Dogs and Sniper Elite but there have been good ones as well that sold pretty bad.

Maybe they can fix it,in there next console. But i wouldn't have high hopes up for that. But hey they can surprise all of us if they did.
Tell Nintendo that while their still developing the NX, petition them to get their act together and actually pursue third parties.
Yeah, their best opportunity to fix their third party problems is when they're making new hardware. Which really is kind of obvious because hardware is the main reason why the third parties are gone in the first place.
Honestly who buys a Nintendo system for third party games? Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, Smash Bros that's why you buy a Nintendo system. If you want third party games you buy a PS4, Xbox One or a PC.

LEGO City Undercover and ZombiU sold me on the console.
Edit: and little inferno got me interested in the eshop

Hardware and that the games didn't sell and Nintendo didn't approach them early enough, by the time developers were pitched to work on the Wii U, Sony and Microsoft already had them on board with the Ps4 and XBONE.
My 360 library is full of goty editions paid € 20/30.
The few 3rd party games on WiiU I'd like to play (Lego City, Deus Ex and Sniper Elite) are still € 50/60 in my country. This clearly doesn't help.
Wii U owners need to buy more 3rd Parties when they are released for our system. 3rd Parties tried, they gave us a pretty fair shake and it didn't pay off for them. Next time there is a 3rd Party game you are remotely interested in released for Wii U, buy it day one. Waiting for a sale tells them you don't want their game.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

wayforward's games seem to favor the wii u over any other system (besides pc) which is a great thing considering it's my favorite game company. the reason i'm saying this is that they wrote alot more features in games like adventure time: ETDBIDK (which had bmo on the gamepad and while the 3ds version had it as well, everything about the 3ds version is atrocious) hope that MLP deal doesn't fall through.

Fun fact, I only bought Wii U near launch because I bought into its third party support.
I think Nintendo currently has the right idea, especially with certain 3rd parties making everyone angry. So instead they take a game less known over here, make it more popular via Nintendo crossover appeal, and then they are eternally grateful for increased relevance. Hope that works out.

...Honestly I kinda bought it early just because of Monster Hunter. lol

Or you know we could just not be able to afford it at full price at launch.
