Heck they've filed claims against my own Youtube podcast series for using Nintendo footage to promote upcoming games, come on Nintendo.

At least they merely blocked the content until I removed it, but still.

@GC-161 You do realize that LP videos are not a form of piracy. Making money off of them may be questionable, but that doesn't mean you should label it as piracy.

Damien McFerran Will you be reviewing one of these two games when they're released later this year?
#4
WiiWareWave commented on Multiplayer Sandbox Title, Rawbots, Coming to ...:
I'm starting to get the feeling that if it weren't for Kickstarter the WiiU eshop wouldn't be getting any more games.

Where is the freaking Wii U support!?
#6
WiiWareWave commented on Talking Point: The Next-Gen Console War is Wii...:
@WaveBoy I agree with you, although La-Mulana and Cave Story were hip retro-inspired games.
Generally I enjoyed games more in the NES-N64/PS1 era than the more modern games, but I'll admit that some of those epic PS2 RPGs were a blast to play! B)

WiiWareWave commented on Talking Point: The Next-Gen Console War is Wii...:
Wii U will most likely win in-terms of overall units sold much like the Wii did. Have you guys heard some of the specs of the PS4 and 720? We'll be lucky if the consoles launch under the $699.99-$799.99 range, which most people couldn't even dream of affording at this point with the economy the way it is. The Wii U on the other hand is generally as powerful as the PS3 and is under $300 which many people can afford.

WiiWareWave commented on HMV Buyout Saves High Street Retailer:
Good news, actually I believe that the HMV location in my town is one of only a few in the US, regardless I'm glad things worked out for the employees of the remaining stores!

Xenoblade Chronicles and La-Mulana.

WiiWareWave commented on Nintendo of France: Games Will Improve Wii U S...:
I agree with Nintendo of France, the Wii U is already a bargain console and requires consumers to buy a game just to make money on each console. The system is a great price, it's just that it is lacking AAA first party titles.

@ThomasBW84 Thanks for updating the info for us.

WiiWareWave commented on Toki Tori 2 to Launch With a Discount:
If I had the money I would download this day one with-or-without a discount, but I still might have a chance thanks to my website. Anyways this game is technically a "digital only" Wii U retail title seeing as the game was released on PC both physically and digitally meaning that this is a retail quality title.
#14
WiiWareWave commented on Nintendo Download: 28th March 2013 (North Amer...:
@fregrold I agree this is getting annoying, why is their such a bad Wii U eshop drought less than 6 months after the console launched?!
#15
WiiWareWave commented on Toki Tori 2 to Launch With a Discount:
@Lee Meyer I'm just curious as a reviewer for another website, but are Two Tribes offering review copies for this game? Anyways I'm glad that this game will be affordable at launch as this should help sell far more copies of this fantastic looking title!

WiiWareWave commented on Nintendo Download: 28th March 2013 (North Amer...:
Why have we already seen so many no Wii U weeks so early in the Wii U eshop's life? Nintendo needs to step up their game. It's not a Nintendoomed situation, but it's still a serious blunder.
#17
WiiWareWave commented on Aussie Retailers Express Their Views on Wii U:
@Bankai TV ads are one thing, but I haven't seen many online ads promoting the Wii U or any of its games. If I'm not mistaken online advertising is the most effective form of advertising.

Where are the Wii U eshop games "besides the digital retail titles"?

WiiWareWave commented on Level-5 Responds To SEGA's Legal Threats Regar...:
If SEGA doesn't win the lawsuit it'll be game over for them given their current financial issues, but either way SEGA doesn't have rights to that motion patent since Nintendo used the concept long before they did.

I agree with Berzerker when will Retro City Rampage be released?
I usually don't purchase violent games, but I plan on purchasing RCR if and when it is released to support the game, since it's very polished and is not cheap shovelware.
@James it appears that Retro City Rampage now has a release date listed as TBD.

WiiWareWave commented on Nintendo Download: 19th April 2012 (North Amer...:
@Tasuki I disagree with you. Buying games for the original consoles not only is more expensive, but also isn't guaranteed to be in working condition either which is a major turn off for people that are struggling financially or people who don't want to buy stuff that might not even work.
#36
WiiWareWave commented on Nintendo Download: 5th April 2012 (North America):
@James I was wondering since we're on the subject of Virtual Console if you know if America is going to lose the Sonic The Hedgehog games that Japan lost?
I have the original carts, but a couple of them no longer work.

Why hasn't this gem of a game been reviewed yet?

This is easily the best fishing game ever created.

WiiWareWave commented on Vigil Games: "Wii U On Par with Current-Gen Co...:
@NINTENBOY Oh god no, I only use my 35" EDTV which is a Tube TV for gaming, because the lag on LCD, and Plasma TV's is unbearable, and if the resolution were higher than 1080p the games would look horrible on my TV.

WiiWareWave commented on Indie Developer Phil Fish Says Japanese Games ...:
So according to this guy Japan should make nothing but extremely violent games, sports games, and fps's because those games are da bomb?
Sorry, but I honestly don't like mutalation in my games, I don't like most sports, and I don't want to play nothing, but first person shooters.

Definitely not legal in the U.S.

At least we have Virtual Console.

WiiWareWave commented on Review: Soccer Up! (WiiWare):
It shouldn't be a 1/10 based on NL scoring criteria I would give this a 6/10 - 7/10.

It's a tad difficult to learn the controls, but the game itself is enjoyable......How this got a 1/10 I'll never be able to fathom.
#48
WiiWareWave commented on Review: Soccer Up! (WiiWare):
This has got to be the least accurate review on the entire website no offence, but Soccer up is one of the best sports games on WiiWare and this review does it an injustice.

I would explain my viewpoints about it, but it would be a massive article even larger than the review.
