How has Capcom cut off Nintendo a few years ago when they just released Revelations this year?
And yes, i was thinking of RE5 instead of RE6. My bad.
If capcom is disappointed in their sales of 3DS software, i assume a big reason is "the mercenaries," but they have no one to blame but themselves on that one. Bad controls, unable to delete save files and... just what is that game? I just wanted a regular mercenaries mode, but instead it's like they tried to make a story out of it. And almost all of the levels are based off RE5, a game that wasn't even on a Nintendo system. They have one level from RE4, but they don't even have ganados in that stage. It's like, what were they thinking?
Capcom is just like every other third party that complains about their software sales on Nintendo systems. They give us crappy games or ports and get mad when we don't buy it. Nobody wanted Resident Evil as a rail-gun shooter. Nobody wanted THREE ports of gamecube Resident Evil games. And then their good, original games were so obscure that the average Wii owner wouldn't even notice it. What's wrong with giving us a good, original Mega Man, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Final Fight, Bionic Commando, etc. Instead, make way for Spyborgs, Zak & Wiki, Neopets and We Love Golf!
Upon doing some research of my own, I found games listed coming for the 3DS by Capcom. E.X. Troopers, Monster Hunter 4 and Project X Zone. So how has Capcom cut off Nintendo if they are still making games for Nintendo systems?
That's pretty much my problem, those are all 3ds games none of which are wii u games & the wii u is out soon & capcom could go the way of freaking square-enix & support consoles & portables & only give us 1 crappy game on wii u & that's it.

Give me SSF4+5 capcom or else you WILL be sorry because SSFIV:3D sucked!
Not changing my statements until mario party 1 gets on the virtual console.
Well, I looked it up to see proof for myself, and Capcom did cut off the Wii and 3DS. I'm not too sure if this will carry over to the WiiU or not, but when it comes to Nintendo's current hardware Capcom has cut them off. However that was announced a few years ago. Things could've changed with the announcement of the WiiU. Part of Capcom's reasoning was the lack of sales they had on the 3DS. It does help to know that most if not all 3rd party developers seemed excited about making games for the WiiU, so Capcom may be the same way. Only time will tell.
Timeline showing games developed by Capcom for the 3DS and the release date in Japan
sourced from wiki. There is only one game missing from that list on this timeline and that's Ace Attorney 5 because it's TBA. I put MH4 on it as "April 2013" however.
Four games in 2011, three games in 2012...... So where is this "abandonment"?
I mean if Mega Man Legends hadn't been cancelled and they had maybe one game for the Wii U, maybe a RE, we'd be talking about how solid Capcom's support is. Is that all this is about?
@Brando67854321 I was simply pointing out that Capcom doesn't appear to be cutting of Nintendo completely like some people had said. I'm sure there are many Wii U games in development (by various companies) that have simply not been announced yet because they don't have any scheduled date of completion. If Capcom is going to take the Wii U seriously, they are most likely going to take their time on their Wii U games, and not crap them out like they did with the Wii. Resident Evil seems like a perfect fit for the Wii U. The Wii U appears to have good graphical capabilities and Resident Evil games like systems with good graphical capabilities. Capcom might want to make a RE game specifically for the Wii U and not port over RE6. So they'll have to finish RE6 first or at least get the bulk of it done before starting on a Wii U-specific RE game. But, of course, this is all speculation.
Capcom's games are all basically either ports or poorly selling original titles. Nintendo has more than enough of the former and doesn't want the latter after the Wii, so that might explain a lot.
Crapcom is too busy not using megaman to develop games for wii.

I would like to see Metal Gear Ground Zero come to the Wii U also Dark Souls would be amazing on the Wii U. You could use the Wii U pad to level up and sort your items out. Maybe even look for soul signs or something.
Bayonetta 2 would be cool on Wii U. I heard it got cancelled though.
you! Predict another game for WiiU so that it may come true
