It would be nice if there were more options besides 2d platformers. I guess there's always pikmin 3, w101, zombiu, and mk8. Other than that, yeah pretty much.

There are a lot more than just those
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@sub12 Well i guess nintendo wanted to show there exclusives off, and you can only buy them on the wiiu. But the sony and microsoft were pretty pathetic to.The only game that was announced and that's getting attention right now is tomb raider cause of the Xbox one exclusive news.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
Yeah, all the Wii U exclusives are 2D platformers like ZombiU, Pikmin3, Wonderful 101, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros., Zelda U, Xenoblade X, Devil's Third and Splatoon!!!!!!
Have said it before but I think the jump to HD was something Nintendo may have underestimated. The platformers look great but they are likely easier(and faster) to make.
However, I think we are at the point where Nintendo has gotten over the SD to HD leap and they are far more comfortable developing on the platform. We are seeing it with X and Zelda, and I expect a wider variety of games to be released after the first half of 2015.

I think Nintendo needs to expand their development teams. AAA team sizes are crazy big in today's industry, not saying they need to go that big but they might want to think about doubling their size to really be able to support both systems for the long run.

@IceClimbers Zombiu was not going to be shown cause it's old and i don't think oobisoft will let them show their game in the trailer.Devil's third was not shown cause nintendo of europe thinks the game is to violent and it has nudity,so i think that's what happened to Zombiu too i guess.
Srry late reply but it actually isn't NoE thinking it's too violent. Germany has the most strict censoring off all western european countries and becuase NoE main building is in Germany they have too follow those guidlines. In the begiing of the WiiU this meant that they were forced to have certain content like ZombiU and AC only appear in the eShop after, I think, midnight.
I don't think Nintendo had a big say in this

But if this was the big N's response to Sony and Microsofts Gamecom conferences, well, that's kinda pathetic.
From what I understand, a certain Sony handheld got nothing at all.
I've defended it several times in the past, but there's no denying Sony let it die anymore. A real shame, I am disappoint Sony.
I wouldn't feel too bad(I know you probably don't actually feel bad, but you know). Even as someone who thought Sony wasn't really treating the console good to begin with, I think we can all agree that no one really expected Sony to treat it even worse, and then finally say that it's future basically is nonexistent. I almost bought on one launch, TBH.

I was replying to a comment on YT when I realized that Ninty could have games coming out almost every month next year. For the remainder of this year they have HW, Bayo, Sonic Boom and SSB. Then for 2015 in January they have Capt. Toad, I'd be expecting Yoshi in March and Splatoon, being the big one, coming in May just like MK8. Devil's Third could be releasing August/September with Xenoblade and Zelda filling the fall/winter months. Those being the big releases, they have games like Kirby, Mario Maker, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Mario Party 10 and Star Fox (and Project Guard/Giant Robot) to fill the gaps.

For Nintendo to release a big game every month, they'd need 3rd party help. Even for a company like Nintendo, releasing a big game every month on the Wii U will be next-to-impossible, especially since they also have to keep the 3DS relevant with releases too

But they don't necessarily need a big release every month. Still this is only a small prediction, who knows what happens cause I expect Starfox and Zelda to be pushed to 2016.
