and of them, we got another tons of platforms (mArio maker, Yoshi and Kirby).... just one rpg (probably the only real one we will have on the console apart Mass Effect 3), another party game.... the only one I am interested for real are SSB, Bayonetta 2 and Devil's third... I am done with all these platformers (already in the e-shop there are some good ones...)... Where are the strategics? Where is Fire emblem for WiiU? a new Advance war? Where are the action games? Metroid? thanks Tecmo Koei for providing few... where are the simulations? some realistic racing game? Some mature game with a not cartoonish graphic?...
Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze are critically acclaimed platformers that people love. The same is gonna happen when Captain Toad and Yoshi and even when Kirby comes out.
I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

You're assuming a heck of a lot. You're assuming that anything that will be coming out in the next year or so has already been revealed to us, which is most likely 100% not the case.
Still Plenty of good stuff coming out at the tail end of this year.

I agree though, i'm not sure I would call Kirby a platformer in this case. nevertheless they need to branch out and it looks like nintendo knows it as well.
just one rpg (probably the only real one we will have on the console apart Mass Effect 3),
Way more than two if you count Dues Ex and the eshop titles.
another party game.... [.quote]
Should be expected at this point.

They all look great.

On the 3dS where those games tend to thrive....
Fire EmblemXshinMegamiTensei is still in development but its probably been slowed due to persona 5 releasing.
Advance Wars has never been a console game and intellgent systems are mostly handheld working on steam.[
Where are the action games? Metroid? thanks Tecmo Koei for providing few...
Well you have W101, the two bayonetta games, hyrule warriors, and devil's third, plus Star Fox next year. as well as Splatoon.
Metroid should hopefully be back soon
where are the simulations? some realistic racing game?
Project Cars is out next year, but that isn't nintendo's forte. Forza and drive club come out next month though.
Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Zelda WW (HD), MK8, Smash Bros., Pushmo World, Star Fox, Splatoon, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, SMT*FE, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fatal Frame V, Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, LoZ (Wii U) with likely announcements of Metroid Prime, Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, Mario Sports spinoffs, and Pokemon and who knows what else to come... It's a bit of an exaggeration to say there are too many platformers.
I don't know why people are still asking for gritty action games with realistic graphics when its clearly not the sort of game that's ever been in Nintendo's repetoire.
Bleh.. all the negative bullcrap and pissing all over Nintendo cause of the STYLES they go with.
I commend Nintendo for being one of the very few devs who have whimsical and stylized games.. while the rest of the industry focuses on grit and realism.. Nintendo still does the kind of games i enjoy.. otherwise i would just keep replaying old school games.
The only ones who seem to complain are the gamers who started gamming on the PS2.. they think everything should be realistic and gritty... sorry but NO... and even Sony's President stated that he commends Nintendo for still doing what they do while the rest of the industry pushes all this realism and grit down all the gamers throats... if you don't like that sort of thing, fine.. but STFU about it and stop b*tching!
Okay.. we get it.. there are gamers with too much f'ing testosterone running through them to enjoy anything but realism.. okay .. okay.. but we are WELL aware of it at this point.. so just shut the hell up about it and go play your damn Call of Doody and Battlefarce..... just.. yeah.. STFU.
Complaining is not gonna change it... you want realism and gritty games.. play PS4s and XBOs.. if you want brightly colored and stylized.. play Wii U... ugh.. all the negative crap from people pisses me off.

i like gritty action games as well as ninty games. i played my first splinter cell on the cube. everyone is diffrent.....i have captain toad and devils third preordered. if anything we should be happy they are trying to cater to diffrent tastes. i have no plans on ever picking up sklanders but i'm glad it's there for ninty fans who want it.
If they all want gritty games.. .. there is PC PS4 and XBO... they can go to those consoles... otherwise you get a Wii U because you LOVE these kinds of games that come from Nintendo and japan... if you don't.. don't buy a Wii U... end of story.

Have said it before but I think the jump to HD was something Nintendo may have underestimated. The platformers look great but they are likely easier(and faster) to make.
However, I think we are at the point where Nintendo has gotten over the SD to HD leap and they are far more comfortable developing on the platform. We are seeing it with X and Zelda, and I expect a wider variety of games to be released after the first half of 2015.
I think Nintendo needs to expand their development teams. AAA team sizes are crazy big in today's industry, not saying they need to go that big but they might want to think about doubling their size to really be able to support both systems for the long run.
Definitely agree on expanding their development teams though I thought they'd started the process to merge the handheld and console teams and create a more unified development space. Another thing I've thought they should do is expand with a few more western studios.
The 3rd party partnerships are also something I've thought they should do and hopefully they will continue to be bring more deals like Bayo2, Sonic, etc to the table.
I said this countless times before. The Wii U is a great console and it really needs more diverse games. Nintendo is supplying some diverse games and we just need MORE of them. Going from Bayonetta 2 to Smash Bros. U to Mario Kart 8 to Devil's Third to Xenoblade Chronicles X, etc is when the console is at its BEST. They oughta be trying to get some JRPGS and more games from developers who need help. And... they really should fight for certain 3rd party games that are fan demanded like Kingdom Hearts 3.
I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

It's not Nintendo's job to "fight" for multiplats. If 3rd parties don't release them, then that's it. The only way Nintendo would pay for a 3rd party game, is if it becomes exclusive. They probably don't even have time to show 3rd parties how to use their hardware properly, because they are learning it themselves, and that's not really anything to be ashamed of, either.

There are multiplats worth fighting for in my opinion. There is a HUGE Kingdom Hearts fanbase within Nintendo's fanbase. We buy KH games for handhelds all the time. Hahah and that's just me.
And Nintendo should really be considering just remaking GameCube games for Wii U. Help with the droughts!!! Sony and Microsoft are getting games from freaking LAST gen AGAIN.
