Any yes, the Wii U has games. Does it want a medal?
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
All I gathered from that video was that if you don't feel like playing colourful platformers, aren't interested in cartoony graphics and don't like silly sound effects, 95% of the games on the Wii-U won't interest you.

which is probably Nintendo biggest problem, with the expection of 4 games all the games sort of blend together in a sugar coated mess.

Exactly. They all basically feature the same design and characters, and your eyes are bombarded by a bright rainbow of colours.

True they need to work on expanding the style they use and have a few more games with a bit more of a serious tone and actual story.
I don't mind the bright, colorful, and cartoony but just do something with it besides another platformer. I enjoy platformers but 3 generations ago we were exploring 3D worlds in Nintendo games. Now we are so confined. It's to bad to because a setting like DKC: TF looks like an awesome place to explore but instead we can only go from left to right or occasionally up and down for a brief moment.
To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.
What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery
It gives a nice round up of games that are out or upcoming but I don't think it's all that great for the consumer base that doesn't already own a WiiU. It does show the different franchises/genres they have with non of them looking dark, gritty and poopoodoodoocacapoopledoople. I like that
@Beetlejuice Well yeah. That's like saying buying a track car for comfort and luxury. Nintendo is famous for making these games and they'll keep making it. Although it would be nice if they introduce more "mature" style games in the mix which. Right now they have Xenoblade X, Bayo2, Devil 3rd and Fatal Frame. Although 2 of those are not in the trailer. Until they get more 3rd parties on board, my playstation will be my go to platform for "mature" games.

Well, I wouldn't begrudge a game for having an interesting art direction, but yeah, this lack of variety is a problem.

Wii U: I Hope You Like 2D Platformers
I think it's more that the video focuses too much on the platformers though and doesn't even mention other games like Devil's Third, Wonderful 101, Fatal Frame, and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Yeah, there's other types of games on the Wii U, but Nintendo is treating it like a big secret. It's bad enough that 3rd parties don't advertise their multiplats on the Wii U, but Nintendo isn't advertising the exclusives either.
the way you guys put it makes me almost want to skip the WiiU entirely...
I'm horrible at 2D platformers and already have too many of them unbeaten on my 3DS....

When I look at the PS4 line-up, I have no interest. I'm not interested in realistic graphix, shooting galore, and the plentiful anime stuff

I'm not really either, which is why of the 18 Wii U retail games I'll have by the end of the year, only 2 of them are platformers.
It's more of a marketing problem than an actual variety problem.
