I watched an old GameXplain discussion video (it was made in Feb), and a big topic was on voice acting and the possibility of Link finally talking. In my opinion it's high time for Nintendo to give its second biggest IP full voice acting across the board. They've proven they can do good VA before (Kid Icarus: Uprising, Fire Emblem: Awakening). As for Link talking...eh, I'd be fine with it but I feel it'd cause too much backlash since he has been silent for so long.
So what do you think?

Only on the condition that everyone involved is really, REALLY good. Like the people behind the scenes and the voice actors themselves...directors...just everyone. At least as good as Xenoblade.
I wouldn't mind it. Actually, I think I'd prefer it. Nintendo games that do have voice acting, like Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem, and The Wonderful 101 feel more, unique, I suppose. The characters express more personality and it feels, well, incredible and new because usually Nintendo characters remain silent.
Personally I like everyone being quiet. It is like the thing about the game that makes it Unique to others. However if they were going to do it then i say keep link silent at least, because is technically supposed to be "you" since you get to name yourself.
I think it should be like Dragon Quest VIII, where everyone except the protagonist speaks. It would work perfectly with Zelda, as Link usually has a Navi-type character doing all the talking for him.

I'd say it wouldn't seem right, but Retro made it work for Metroid...and I said the same thing about that series too.
So, I guess they could do something...but yeah, like with Metroid and keeping Samus silent, keep Link silent.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
Seconded. I really don't care for voice acting in games, TBH. Zelda is just better off without it, IMO.
And, personally, (I know this is just me, I'm not saying there shouldn't ever be an option for voice acting for those who like it) I always end up having read all of the text before they're done talking, and it just ends up awkward.
I think there is no need, but I did love what they did in Majora's mask, some people would laugh or grunt if you talked to them and that, no need not silent or talking a lot.
In all seriousness, no. The use of voice acting would make Link seem even more mute than he already is. The other characters simply grunting or making other sounds makes it possible for Link to seem to speak without real dialogue. To those who think Link should be given a voice, consider this. Link, has always been a shell to project ourselves into. The reason Zelda games have always had captivating stories is because in the game you are Link. Making him into a full blown character would defeat his very purpose.
