Why am i no surprised?I actually wish they just said were not making the game cause the idea of low sales and i would understand for the godrforsaken Wiiu, but the 3DS?Nonsense but are they serious with this?Wow stupid Nintendo making a console with a stupid name, a stupid controller and stupid power no one can use except for the big N who can. Can't wait for the next console to be called the NEW Wiiu or The Wiiu 2!Or the Zii
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
It's not hardware limitations, it's the refusal to put time and effort into it. There have been many games in the past that used different frameworks and hardware and still offered pretty much the same game. You could even use the same engine as Revelations 1 for the Wii U port, as the game isn't so big in scale and innovativity that it couldn't work.
What if they started milking Street Fighter 3DS...since the the N3DS got a better processor and stuff, imagine if they just made a new game that makes the stages animated and added a few other little things....they are not stranger to that!

Does anybody actually believe that this game will turn out good?
I can't see it pushing past a 7....looks like a watered down low budget effort on Capcom's part.
Why not? The first was brilliant and they've been quite clear that they're going back to the old RE formula.
Considering WiiU was the platform with the lowest sales.
And the 3DS actually does not run MT Framework, the Vita version is being developed internally and published by Sony so Capcom has nothing to do there.
So... Im not impressed at all its not coming to neither WiiU or 3DS

Yes, and I was born yesterday at approximately 2AM. Just say you're skipping the Wii U because of the sales and you're skipping the 3DS because you can't be bothered to remake it in HD again. Done.

The only thing dumber than that would be if they didn't localize a Lost Planet game despite the series mostly existing to appeal to a western audience.
But that would be dumb! Next you'll tell me they got a terrible developer to make Lost Planet 3!
Or they could've just made a 3DS game and remade it in HD again.
They've gotta put the main focus where the money is. Resident Evil just sells the most on playstation. For saying RE:R was the best resident evil in about a decade, and probably the best looking game on the 3DS, it sold really quite poorly. Whereas a trainwreck like RE6 sold incredibly well just because that's where it's audience is.
Yes, exactly. The audience lies with Xbox, Sony, and the Steam brands. RE: Revelations was a great game, but sold like garbage on Wii U. Simple math=no sequel.
It sold like garbage on Xbox 360 too, struggling to sell 0.24m units (as of 25 January 2015) even after heavy discounts on a console with a much, much higher install base than Wii U. But apparently simple math=sequel when you apply it to Xbox 360.
But selling 0.82m units on 3DS? Forget it, no sequel for 3DS. That's Capcom logic.
