Darksiders 2 and Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, which has the most/diverse/challenging puzzles?

This should be asked in the Wii U recommendations thread

I would say get both... Expecially because u should find darkider 2 for nothing now... i saw it in shops for less than 15 dollars... Wwhd is a must have, too, if u like action adventure with rpg taste, they are both great

Darksider 2 it's amazing i just bought it cause it's on sale right now in the eshop. So i would say darksiders 2.

The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

I'm currently playing Watch Dogs 2 & Manhunt

I really enjoyed Darksiders 2 as it's sort of a Nintendo game masquerading as a hack and slash. It has a few bugs which can be frustrating, but it truly is an immersive world with a great storyline acted well with understated humour. WW is liquid Nintendo goodness, and really can't be faulted either. Chances are you'll like both, but Darksiders is cheaper at the moment, and is getting harder to find these days so I'd snap that up first.

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

Tough question. Darksiders II has some pretty nifty puzzles, and at times they really prove to be a challenge, but Wind Waker HD has more diversity to puzzles. For now, I'd recommend Darksiders, because the game offers much better content-price balancing (the game is really cheap right now).

I haven't played Wind Waker yet, but it found Darksiders II to be a poor Zelda imitation myself. Too much wash-rinse-repeat on castle exploration that dragged down what could have been an interesting action-adventure game. It felt like someone came up with an interesting story concept and then couldn't figure out what kind of game would make it feel epic enough and said "I know, let's have players navigate through samey ruins over and over again using most of the same mechanics!" The combat sections were brief and that really should have been the bread and butter. Focus on the questing aspect with less wall running and that tedious column-jumping crap. And that big boss battle on horseback has to be one of the most ill-conceived sequences ever. Who tested that and thought it was fun?

I don't regret playing it, but it embodies too much of what is wrong with modern game design for my tastes: Zelda is a no-brainer by comparison - at least you know what you're getting into!

I can't say too much about Darksiders because I got it at launch, played it for a bit and thought it was okay but then moved on to something else and haven't bothered going back to it (yet at least).
Wind Waker on the other hand is my favourite Zelda game, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Wind Waker is the better game but Darksiders 2 can be found for dirt cheap now.

Just got Wind Waker HD. Playing this again feels like having a birthday.. again.
It was the best Gamecube game period, 'nough said.

Will check out Darksiders II if they put it on an eShop sale. I've seen it in stores for 14,99€ months ago.

Wind Waker is gorgeous and a ton of fun. I highly recommend picking it up.

I bet this is a fairly common dilemma but...

Pokémon OR/AS or Smash Bros 3DS for an autumn delight?

The Smash Bros would be coming on the Wii U a bit later and that's a guaranteed purchase... it's a weird situation having two smash bros games coming out like this. I want to play both of them, but it feels like I'm being ripped of in a way if I buy both of them even if they're two distinct games.
Not to mention feeling somewhat ripped off by buying another Pokémon remake
But they're all fun games I'm sure! I just don't know how to approach this situation as a consumer

If it wasn't for the freezing and frame rate issues of DS II I'd say get both, but as it stands I would say get WW.
