How I wish for that to happen. The original Nintendo Weeks anniversary is the day after the conference.
I miss Dark Gary (and Mr. Runcible. He was my favorite character.)
Does anyone watch that Nintendo Update thing they have going now?
I'm not really that crazy for Nintendo week. I didn't bother me at all to see it go. Have you seen the Nintendo Show 3d? I think it's much better. Jessie Cantrell feels like much more of a real person than the cookie cutter feel goodary of Gary and Allison. Also it almost always ends in a stand out clip of 3d video.
Nintendo week was a weekly show available on the Nintendo Channel of the Wii. When I started watching it featured two hosts Gary and Allison. They were non threatening and wholesome. They promoted new games, and seemed to live in a very clean Nintendo themed house. In traditional Nintendo style they were later joined by Dark Gary, who was mildly threatening, but still wholesome. Dark Gary seemed to live in a tent outside. After awhile Allison disapaired, now Nintendo week has also vanished. Nintendo Update seems to be the replacement. Nintendo channel on a whole seems to have slowed down. I don't check it much anymore.

Yeah, Nintendo Show 3D is a perfect example of how to do a weekly or bi-weekly update show. When Wii U launches I'd like to see them just remove the '3D' from the end of the name and extend the show maybe another 3 or 4 minutes to provide enough time to feature both systems.
I like Nintendo Update, but I do miss Nintendo Week. It was cheesy and stupid, but it was interesting enough to keep my attention and inform me about upcoming Nintendo games. The only episode I didn't like was when they played Mario Kart 7 in DK Jungle. It was weird because they were all so into the game that the short bursts of commentary they spat out seemed...awkward.

"Got a Spiny Shell headed your way..."

"Who put that banana there?"

Me too but they took it off the archives. I don't know if they were embarrassed by it or of too many people were offended.
Nintendo Show 3d is fun too. Also one of the writers on threediots was on Nintendo week as a co-host occasionally (Phea)
