Nintendo Land obviously didn't impress a lot of people at Nintendo's e3 conference, but I must say I'm really digging some of the minigame ideas. There's however one thing that bugs me. While on the one hand Nintendo seems to want this to be their "Wii-sports-for-the-Wii U" there's been no confirmation that the game will actually be packed in with the system, like Wii Sports was. So what do you folks think about this, will the Wii U be bundled with anything at launch? And will this be Nintendo Land?

It actually impressed when people played it it was just the presentation people found disappointing.
I believe there is a rumour it's going to be bundled in as a Nintendo rep commented that it is going to be bundled.. but hey, it's a rumour.

Hopefully it's bundled because I'd like to have to the chance to play it.
I'm unlikely to buy it otherwise.
It looks really fun, but it seems to be too focused on local multiplayer for me so I wouldn't spend my money on it.

It shows of everything the Wii U can do. I'm pretty sure it's bundled with the Wii U.

If they know what's good for them. And they'll advertise the ever-loving hell out of it 4 weeks before launch.

No interest. It's just Wii Play with Nintendo characters thrown in. Now if they were abbreviated versions of the ACTUAL Nintendo franchises — a re-imagined Donkey Kong or a small Metroid mission — I'd be all over it.

I would hope that its bundled. I don't see it doing that well otherwise. That and the Wii U needs some bundled software to show usecases for the gamepad a la wii sports.

I hope it's built into the hardware, like Face Raiders for 3DS.

I really hope above all else that they wouldn't decide to include it on the console itself. Particularly if they do, indeed, plan to make other retail-sized titles available for download, I can't imagine ANY reason why I'd want that one permanently stuck on my system eating up the little internal memory they're giving it. Including a physical game in the box wouldn't be any different, practically speaking, as everyone would still have the game.

It would make SOME sense to make it a free download on the eShop, but even then, the size still keeps it from being as attractive a "connectivity incentive" as Four Swords on 3DS was because of its size. It wouldn't be a small download so for a game like that, everyone would benefit more from it being a in a traditional format.

I'm one of the people that is interested in the game and it looks really fun to me. I really hope this will be a pack in, it's similar to Wii Sports. It shows the players how the new GamePad works, just like Wii Sports did for the Wii Remote and Nunchuck. If they know whats good for business and raise interest in players, this needs to be a pack in.

I really hope it's bundled, because I can't see it making that much of a splash at retail unless maybe it was priced at like 20 dollars. As fun as some of it looks, it's a minigame collection/tech demo and I can't see many people paying like 60 bucks for that.

I am pretty positive they will bundle Wii U with some software and, considering everything they showed at E3, Nintendo Land is the only one that makes any sense. Personally, I'm not interested but it might be fun for a few days.

I hope it is bundled. If it is, then I can have a great guaranteed family experience with the system Day One. If it isn't, then the price of the Wii U system will be cheaper. It's really a win-win.

I am confident it will be bundled but I'm curious if it will have online multiplayer and leaderboards?Surely it must be eh!Did they not say at 1 point it will always be on the system or something along they lines as well as integrated with MiiVerse?

Actually I doubt it'll be bundled seeing they're giving everyone the option to DL day one, unless they sells 2 WiiUs one with it DL bundled and one with it physically bundled, but maybe the DL bundle will cost less I can dream cant I?

I can imagine that this would be bundled. I assume if it is though, that it will be short. I think it would be a nice introduction to franchises for players who thought they wouldn't be interested in them.

I agree, and that is it seems what most people here are thinking, but then why the ambiguity? I believe they said at the reveal of NL that they hoped it would be ready "this holiday". It's not like my purchase of the console is contingent upon this being bundled or not, but it seems like a nice game to jump into with your freshly purchased Wii U, but not sufficiently impressive to warrant an independent release.

I don't know many people who would buy it without it being bundled. Part of the Wii's success came with it having Wii Sports right out of the box, so it would entice people to purchase the system if they knew they'd get a game out of it. I don't see how they wouldn't bundle it. It just doesn't look like that substantial of a package to warrant its own retail release.

Best thread ever

When did they say you could download Nintendo Land on day one? Link please...
