Really loving this game atm. Graphics are stunning and the gameplay is great. Challenging my friends times are keeping me busy as is, but eventually need to try some online play!

Sadly I'll have to wait for May to get this and Lego City as my flat is taking longer to sell than expected. I need to give Warriors Orochi 3 and Mario some love so that's okay, but I'm jazzed for some racing.

Anyone using the Wii Wheel? I want to know if that's worth picking up again.

In a game like this, motion controls are almost entirely a non option. Sure you can mess around with them, but the odds of actually winning with it are about one in a million. Even using the wheel in Mario Kart was more of a disadvantage than anything, but in this I doubt you'd even be able to compete.

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

Also, are there cops online? Or is the online strictly racing?

There are no Cop cars online. Events are as follows, Race, Team Race, Speed tests and Challenges.

Speed tests are competitive 90 second events, with goals such as highest jump, highest speed, etc.

Challenges are cooperative, you need to reach a goal against the clock, such as drifting, or parking on a hard to reach place.

Well I just want to play - I really don't care about competing online - I'm certainly not using a stick regardless. I found the wheel worked quite well with Excitebots, so I'll give it a try - I can probably get one really cheap second-hand.

Well I'm sorry but I use the Wii Wheel and it's awesome. It's the most realistic way to play, and probably the hardest which makes for a real challenge. I honestly killed F-ZERO GX in every difficulty mode you can think of, so playing this game with the stick would soon not be that fun.

I got my Wii Wheel for 10 € on Amazon.

My son and I are playing this game. We both COMPLETELY suck at it but dang its fun!

I've staring playing last night. The graphics are awesome. I'd found more fun and realistic the motion controls with the game pad, it's hard but I'd sucks even more with the sticks.

Great game, a lot of fun.

Criterion is the developer. EA is the publisher. You can love the developer but still hate the publisher.

Let's pray TT figures out how to reduce the load times of Lego City, and implement an update.

I just got this so I don't have the old version to compare to. Anyone have a link to patch notes?

Load times are definitely not shorter than before the patch. My game is downloaded by the way, in case that somehow matters.

The one change I can guarantee is the glitch I mentioned in a previous post that prevented me from unlocking the Alfa 4C in single player is now fixed. Woohoo.
