TC is relatively new, usually used because it makes more sense than OP. But OP is still used much more. Personally, I'd rather TC became more common, but I find I stilll use OP a lot.

Speaking of OP and TC...we're getting off topic here!
We're supposed to be crying over how terrible Hyrule Warriors is and admitting that Nintendo and the Wii U is trash by extension.
Remember, according to the 'topic creator' ...the trailer looked like it was in 240p...and we should fear the inevitable "downgrade" from that.
2. There has only been one trailer
3.* I fear the graphics might be downgraded!*
4. Possibly true but hasn't been confirmed as There has only been one trailer
5. Seeing as there have been 8 main Dynasty Warrior games I'm fairly certain people give a flip.*

This thread was the first time I have ever seen TC used. (Thought it might be an abbreviation for a Zelda game for all I knew).
“30fps Is Not a Good Artistic Decision, It's a Failure”
Freedom of the press is for those who happen to own one.
The mark of a dedicated troll or viral astro-turfer is the ability to ignore everything everyone says that debunks him, and plows through with their agenda. They will even feign ignorance of very basic knowledge and become appallingly obtuse in order to do so...like pretending they don't know what TC means.
This must be his first time using the internets!
I'll remind the TC (TOPIC CREATOR ) once more of the early Super Mario 3D World footage footage shown at the E3 2013 direct. Remember how bland it looked and how everyone was so underwhelmed? Does anyone remember how everyone changed their mind at the second trailer shown in a later direct?
Now on top of that, he's trying to make the case that this is Tecmo Koei and not Nintendo:
Does he think we're unaware of how these developer relationships work?
Didn't Iwata explain this in the actual direct?
Does it matter at this point in the thread?
Finally, he says he thought it looked like 240p footage, but earlier in the thread he said he feared it looking the same or worse, he feared the "downgrade"...so I guess he thinks most Wii U games are less then 240p or worse?
Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on!
Got to admit, I thought he'd be a better troll....but he's kind of proven that he doesn't know when to abandon a failed topic.
Well....he's gotten you to post several replies to his blatant troll, and you have actually put thought into your responses, so I would have to say he has been quite successful and you (and others) have fed him well.
Props to @memoryman3 though. In one troll post he has gotten more replies than @MAB gets in a year! Fo' shizzel my nizzle!

My thoughts exactly. We were doing good for a while!
I'm itching for some online play so for now my most anticipated are smash bros and mario kart. I hope smash bros online is better this time around...can't be much worse than on wii
OP = original poster, generally the first person to post under an existing article
TC = topic creator, the person who creates the actual post itself on a forum where users can make their own topics
I know what they mean, I worked out what TC was purely based on the context it was being used. I'd just never heard anyone use it before.

Frankly the one that makes more sense is the one that is more widespread. There's no "sense", it's just an abbreviation that you attach to something. The more people that know it the more it makes sense. I'd never heard TC used so I think it's reasonable to argue that OP makes more sense. It would be like going into the gaming community and telling them that wd is the new gg. Everyone in the gaming community knows what gg is, if you started saying wd people might think you're doing some weird product placement.

OP was a troll. Going off topic is yet more proof that they are a poor excuse for a troll. You think it's better to argue that Hyrule Warriors will not run in 240p or being sidetracked and not engaging with the OP at all?
Wow, these boards are pretty funny. Better get some troll spray 'cause these are like ants and termites...
So much concern!
If you do nothing da' trollz winz
If you reply da' trollz winz
If you stray off topic da' trollz winz
If you make the troll look like a fool by pointing out their own contradictions and fallacies...da' trollz winz?
Well @JohnRedcorn, you would know quite a bit about trolling, eh?
However...I'll reply to whoever I want. If the person who is posting in bad faith and trying to spread misinformation and animosity can't handle the responses, they should think about that before spreading misinformation and animosity, hmm?

I'd say the second and fourth lines are about correct. Trolls like to get responses. In the end, though…

That whole argument that responding to trolls makes them win is silly. We want to have a good bit of fun and point out when people are being ridiculous. It deprives us of the opportunity to zing the trolls back if we just let them run roughshod all over the boards.
The only time they ever seem to bring up that argument is when you've called them out...it's a desperation tactic....because it plays on the better nature of the people they are trolling while excusing all their actions. Nope. Not having that.
Expose the silliness, zing them back, and have a laugh while doing it!
Trolls only win when they get a rise out of people. OP troll was so bad that the responses were basically just people going "meh, is troll, here's my list of games responding to title". Troll success isn't measured in the number of posts or the effort people take to respond. Troll success is measured in keyboard rage.
I saw a digital code in a box for Child of Light at a retailer for $30AU. Which is odd because the game was $20AU on the eShop.... but not that odd because that game is definitely worth $30AU
