Topic: Is the wiiu your main gaming console?

I'd actually not played a Console much for the past 2 previous years, and had stuck to the 3ds whilst wasting time. Really didn't think I'd get new console after the Wii, and had no desire to become part of the X-Box/PS3 'Dude' brigade. But For some reason really late on in the build up for the Wii U I became quite obsessed, mainly due to games like Arkham, Darksiders, Injustice, Wonderful 101, and the usual Nintendo stuff. Have really been blitzing on Arkham, Darksiders and Mario to completion (even more than I did when I was a big gamer) and had a lot of fun, and am now waiting for something new to come out whilst I figure out if I like Assassin's Creed 3 or not.

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

Your comment pretty much describes me, except I've been on my PC for the most part over the last couple years. I got super burnt out on my 360 somewhere around Halo:Reach. I don't know if it's the Wii U or just a new console in general that has reinvigorated me, but the gamepad is just such an awesome addition to the console experience that I actually enjoy. Motion controls weren't for me, but this "gimmick" is awesome. It gives me a reason to play a console again over my PC.

My Wii U just sits there waiting for great games to come out. My 3DS on the other hand gets played nonstop.

Im not "generally" a Nintendo only gamer. Except for SEGA Saturn i basically have owned every (major) video-game platform released since the Nintendo Entertainment System (+ Commodore 64), however i was more of a "Nintendo fan" during my childhood. I never had fun with Sonic the Hedgehog, i liked Super Mario World. Me and my friends were all over Nintendo 64 and i had Gamecube as my main (hence, only) console during most of the sixth console-gen.
However due to the lack of many third-party titles for the Gamecube i did acquire Xbox and Playstation 2 and that was kind off my way into the "owning everything" phase that lead me into playing Nintendo DS, Playstation Portable, Xbox 360, Wii and Playstation 3 during the past generation/years.

But now, for some reason, im really into the feeling of only having one platform. I basically sold my entire Playstation 3-collection and got the Wii U a month ago
and now thats the only platform i have. And its great. Looking back i had a great time with the Gamecube and the Wii U has a lot of that same atmosphere. I actually like that there isnt tons of new games arriving every month. I like the feeling of anticipation. I like the feeling of being glad to hear that games like Watch_Dogs and Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag is coming out and not just be like.. yeah, whatever, those and thousands more.

Its like with everything. Less is more. In some weird way.

These days,
Wii U 90% -> 3DS/Vita 8% -> Xbox 360 2%.

It will be whenever I'm able to get one...
And then doubly so once Pikmin 3 comes out.

At the moment yes! I have finally got around to using Miiverse and it is pretty cool. I started using it after I got F-Zero and have been enjoying the community ever since.

It's actually been:
3DS XL=65%
Wii U=32%
and PS3=3%
for me.
I just got my 3DS XL back yesterday from Nintendo(camera had weird green static), so I've been playing Mario Kart 7 ALOT, along with Tekken, Sonic, and Bit.Trip for Wii U.
I mainly use my PS3 to look at the PSN store every once in a while for PS+ games I want to play.

No, I wish I had a Wii U but I don't even have an HD TV, so what's the point?

Most of the time I spend on my Wii U isn't on an HD tv. A hd tv isn't required at all to enjoy a Wii U.

I can finally say Yes, I don't turn on my Alienware to game anymore, and play only Wii U when I am not playing on my 3DS

Nope, I haven't touched my Wii U for this entire year, and I doubt I will until Zelda: The Wind Waker HD releases in August or whenever.

Haven't touched the Wii U either. Im waiting for Rayman Legends, and may rent Lego City Undercover from the library.

I don't have one yet, but probably the PS3 and 360 won't have anymore support by the time I get a Wii U. So then it will be my main console.
