I have time to spare and I enjoy gaming; the Wii U is my main gaming "console," but I also play games on my iPad (pinball, Popcap stuff for the most part) and my Mac (FPS stuff; no I don't run Windows on it).
Guess that means I need to turn in my "gamer" membership card, boo-hoo!
wii u is my main console, I also have a N64,3DS,gamecube, and gameboy color.
I use to have a wii but I gave it to my 7 year old when I got the wii u. I did have a 360 when arkham asylum came out because I just HAD TO PLAY IT, but soon after that I got bored with it and traded it in for a load of wii and ds games.
the reason I think I only have one console is because I cant afford to have more than one main console, because I'm the kind of guy that just has to have all the latest and best releases for a console and I just can't afford to do this for another console.
The reason I choose ninty consoles is because I like em the best, and I would rather have 1 ninty console with all the latest games, then have a wii u and 360/PS3 with only a few games on each.
not to mention I wouldn't have time to enjoy 2 consoles to thier fullest, there just aint enough hours in my day. I got this friend that has more money than sense and he has EVERYTHING, you name it he's got it.
but he only has time to play a quater of what he has because his life is to busy, what with work and all that.
I'm still being weaned off of the Wii (save files, library of games which I don't want to migrate, plus back-log), but other than that think it is safe to say that I made the switch.
I love my Wii U, I currently use it mainly for Hulu Plus and Netflix. When I got it, I played it straight for 3 months as my "Main gaming console" but now the games I have are done and beaten the snot out of. My percentage of free time playing video games breaks down as PS3 70%, GameCube 20% (Only playing Tales of Symphonia), Wii U 10%.

so what's the point
That's why I'm not going to buy all games of interest upon release any more or why I don't buy more than one LP per month. You stockpile that stuff and you're unlikely to give it the proper time. It's treating games like junk food. I guess if you just sit around playing games all day long it's different, but most people don't do that. A long session for me is two-three hours - not because I lack time, but because there's other things I like to do besides.
The Virtual Boy shall always be my main console, everything else is 2nd rate in comparison.
Ahem, now if you'll excuse me I've got a date with the waves in Waterworld.

What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery
40% 3DS (counting 3DSWare, VC, DS games, and DSi games on it)
35% PC (I have about 27,000 Steam games, plus Minecraft.... okay, slight hyperbole)
25% Wii U (counting eShop, Wii games, and VC played on it)
I expect these numbers to fluctuate, and the Wii U and PC numbers will slowly switch places as more games come out. 3DS will probably always be dominate with Animal Crossing and Pokemon coming this year, except for a few days at a time when I will exclusively play Wii U(whenever I get new games throughout the year).
Wii-U and my 3DS-XL get the most use, plus my Wii running all the old emulators. My 360 has been sitting in the closet since November, but will be dusted off when GTA 5 is released (assuming its not on Wii-U). By the middle of next year I will have a 720 or PS4, but I'm not in a rush to buy one on release since there should be plenty of games on Wii-U to keep me busy when they come out.

Its slowly becoming my main console, but it will always have a struggle to become my number one with my Alienware and my 3DS being portable since I am more often away from home than not.
I JUST got a Wii U a few days ago, so that's where I've been putting a lot of my time into.
Before that I was playing a LOT of Gamecube games (trying to beat viewiful joe on ultra v rated mode), and I got Pikmin and Pikmin 2 for the Wii so I could practice for Pikmin 3
My PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS (can't read cartridges..), and PS Vita have been collecting dust....I'm probably going to sell them all soon (except my 3DS..no one's going to buy that since it can't read the games)
No, I'm still investing my time in the gamecube. In fact, I just started another run of wind waker, even if it's one of my least favorite zelda's.
