Topic: Is the wiiu your main gaming console?

I am curious if how many people here are only nintendo gamers, how many play other systems (which systems) or play other systems equally to the wiiu.

Personally the WiiU is my only console other than 3ds, I have only ever owned nintendo Consoles, however I am considering a ps3 because I am now addicted the mass effect.

I think I play my 3DS more than anything, followed by my PC then my Wii U.

Speaking current gen systems, I have a 360 as well as a laptop that can handle any current games but my Wii U gets more attention. Though my 3DS gets even more due to portability. I grew up with Nintendo and have had a couple other systems simply for some third party games but I've always invested much more time into by Nintendo systems.

Well before the Wii U came out:
60% Xbox 360
30% PC
8% 3DS
2% Wii

Now I play:
70% Wii U
20% 3DS
10%PC
(My Xbox 360 has been unplugged since the Wii U Launch)

Yes, my Wii U is main gaming console but that is not saying much because I play video games for less than 5 hours a week. I have a PS3 but don't use it all that much anymore.

Not really. I honestly plan on using the time where Wii U is new and thus lacking games to get older stuff and eshop stuff etc. Mostly on 360 and some on 3DS.

I never have a ''main'' gaming console. I usually have multiple consoles and handhelds that I go back and forth on. And even if I did, I can't really make the Wii U my main console since I currently have only two retail games for it.

Nope, I haven't touched my Wii U for this entire year, and I doubt I will until Zelda: The Wind Waker HD releases in August or whenever.

Yes, the Wii U is my main console and I have Mid to High range Gaming PC as my secondary.

I base that on what I play the most... Since early Dec when my wife bought me the Wii U its been getting at least 4 hours a day play, while my PC might get 4 hours over the course of a week.

Yep, Wii U and 3DS to be more percise as my main. I guess that explains why I'm so impressed by months old ports of 3rd party titles released on PS3/Xbox360.

Wii was my main console until 2009 when I got a PS3, then 2010 when I got an Xbox 360 S. When I got my HD consoles, I gave my half of the Wii(We shared it) to my brother with all the games. Xbox 360 and PS3 were my main consoles until Wii U came out, and now I only play Wii U. My 3DS gets more attention than my PS3, and will even more so when Super Smash Bros. and Monster Hunter come out.
I ended up just asking my bro for the Wii games I let him have back, and he didn't mind.

Atm, if I could pick one console to play, it'd be 3DS. I only have, like, 5 games for Wii U if you include the eShop games, and while they're all good(well, Balloon Fight, less so), I mostly play my 3DS. Sure, I'll play NLand and F-Zero, but I play much more on my 3DS than my Wii U.

I haven't noticeably played any system significantly more than another in quite some time. The only example that really comes to mind would be the entire 2nd half of 2005 with the DS. And that's because the system suddenly had lots of games and GCN pratically died after RE4 and Jungle Beat.

For me it's 70% Wii U and 20% 3DS but i'm sure that wen Castlevania comes out it will be the other way around!

I have a Wii U, a Japanese Wii, an Atari Jaguar (for Tempest 2000 and Defender 2000) and an iPad. The Wii U and the iPad get the most action, hands-down. If the PS4 was backwards-compatible to the original Playstation then I'd strongly consider one, but I'm happy with the Wii U.
