Topic: Holiday 2013 Wii U Games List!

What is everyone buying for Wii U this holiday season? I'm saying that August is the beginning of the holiday gaming season.

Here's my list:

August: Pikmin 3, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist, New Super Luigi U
September: Rayman Legends, The Wonderful 101, Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure
October: Sonic Lost World, Batman Arkham Origins
November: Watch_Dogs, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
December: Super Mario 3D World
Release date Q4 2013: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Mario & Sonic at the 2014 Sochii Olympic Games, Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut, Wii Fit U, Wii Party U

I've already picked up Pikmin 3, and will be picking up Splinter Cell this evening. I already have through October paid off with the exception of Scribblenauts.

What is everyone else getting? I'm getting it all. Very excited.

So many! I'm envious, haha.

For me, I picked up Pikmin 3 this month.

Only plan on getting Rayman Legends and Wind Waker for the rest of the year. Maybe 3D world, W101. Definitely some VC games.

I recently got Pikmin 3 on July 26 and the dlc of Luigi U about a month before, but my list is currently:

I would get ACIV since I think it looks really cool, but I'm just now playing through the first game in the series on PC. I want to be all caught up before I dive into IV.

I would also get some of the indie titles and VC titles coming out, but I have a bunch of eShop titles that I bought but haven't played yet. Gotta' clean up my "to play" list before I get any more eShop games.

@Relias: Ninja Gaiden 3 is underrated. Solid hack & slash.

@CaptainCharlie: Yes, the retail edition of New Super Luigi U is a collector's edition. I don't know what their plans are for numbers of copies printed, but I know that having it at retail is kind of a special occasion sort of thing. I love the green box art.

Wonderful 101, Rayman Legends, Assassin's Creed Episode IV: A New Protagonist (Hope? Same thing in this case), Watch_Dogs (factually best version until proven otherwise), Sonic Lost World, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and as many downloadable games as I can afford.

I hope it is ... I think.. it sounds like a Dynasty Warriors mixed with Ninja Gaiden.. I hope it is in a way.. while it's not the Ninja Gaiden that I would be used to exactly... I still love Warriors.. (So much so I got Orochi 3 on my Wii U.. was one of my first purchases.. )

this holiday wii u and 3ds will have the best and largest line up did any one notice that.

I was going to start a new thread for (US) release dates but I'll just join the party. Please correct me when I'm wrong and help fill in the blanks
Anybody notice the disturbing lack of release dates for Nintendo games? Everybody else has dates, why not them?

Oh my god someone else is getting this game too? But seriously if Nintendo can market it right, Wii Fit U could sell a decent amount of software. Probably not a system seller, but make a profit on the software.
