For some reason, this game announcement just makes me want Hollywood to realize that the only way to even follow-up the Christopher Nolan movies is to make a theatrical adaptation of Batman: Year One.
Dude Batman Begins basically was Batman Year One. With Batman Begins not even 10 years old, they would be stupid to do another Batman reboot. It wasn't exactly like it, but it was an origin story, so it wouldn't make sense.
Yeah, then we might end up with another The Amazing Spider-Man.

Awesome! I would get better graphics on my PC, but playing Arkham City with the gamepad was different enough to sway me to purchase this one on the Wii U. Having the map up 24/7 is so convenient, and some of the little touch "gimmicks" actually fit in really well with the game and made it just that little bit more immersive.

The console game will be complete trash for sure. The 3DS/Vita game may be decent but I'm not confdent because I have yet to play a game shared between those systems that doesn't suck, the Lego games being at the top of the list of garbage. All this news does is make me wonder what Rocksteady could be working on.

Curent rumor is a silver age Justice League game possbliy written by Neal Addams.
Npt sure why you would expect the game to be trash when the buggest part of the game (free flow) is still the same. This game also has the benfit of not having the Joker in it and will be going for what seems a more street Level Batman.

The coolest thing about the whole game is that in Arkham City the thugs mention in their discussions at least one time Blackgate and I think "an event that took place there, after what happened...." At the time it seemed strange. Really nice that they had the foresight and already planned the prequel. Wonder if it was wii u exclusive conversation.

No. I heard the thugs mention that in the Xbox 360 version as well.

Really? Cool! The gameplay is stunning for the series. Sneaking and detective skills, and let's not forget about the highly-entertaining gameplay. The only thing I need to be careful for is profanity.
I actually feel like someone could make a quality Superman game, although it would be pretty hard.
There's one coming out for the Wii U next month called Lego Batman 2! Seriously, the sequences in which you play Superman are fun and plentiful (at least from what I could tell from watching my sons play). Another great Superman game was Superman for the Atari 2600. OK. I'm old.
I'm thinking this will be my entry into the series. Wasn't complety convinced that I would connect with the first one, but I cannot resist a Batman game in a winter setting.
