Topic: Are you going to Delete your VC versions the 4 Mario games now that the collection came out for Wii?

I am thinking of deleting SMB2, and SMB3 from my Wii now that I have the collection. I always liked the All Stars version better, so I probably wont be playing the originals that much. Not only that I can probably use the space for other games in the future.

So what about you all are you deleting them or keeping them?

Just move them to an SD card if you don't intend to play them. Enough Said!!!

no way, there's a place in my collection (and on my wii) for everything. sometimes i want to play the games as i played them when we first got our NES waaaaay back in the day (that's what i love about the VC btw; even all the flickering and slowdown is there :3), and sometimes i want to play the remakes. it's whatev' :3

I won't have to. My SD card is an HC. It's huge and I have over 300 games on it with plenty room to spare. I still haven't even found a copy of all stars for Wii yet so I'll have to stick with the Nes versions for now.

The only reason I can possibly imagine to do so is if you need the space or you need your SD card to be tidy.

Good points guys but even when I had the NES versions and the SNES versions way back in the days I rarely touched the NES versions once I got SMA. Maybe thats just me.

I already spent $24 on SM1, SM2, and SM3. I'm not spending another $30 just for upgraded graphics.

Probably, but only because I'm running out of space on my Wii. Plus, I much prefer the original graphics for Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3, so it might be nice to revisit them every now and again.

Nope. Why would I? I have plenty of room on the SD card. The way its going, it looks like I'm gonna fill up the 20 page limit before I fill up the memory limit.

i keep all my downloaded games on my sd card, even the crapy ones which i regret buying.
besides, for those who don`t have an SD car, there`s always the option to re-download them at a later date.

I keep them on my Wii for a few reasons.

I have the space.
I may not want to swap out game discs if I'm feeling lazy.
I can show people the difference in graphics for those who have not played these games.

Nope. I love the new collection (considering I've never had an SNES), but the originals are just as good.

I see Nintendo has made a lot of extra money off you people. I guess this is what fanbases are for after all.

I don't know who is worse: the people in the fanbase, or the people who come to the fanbase just to poke fun at them. >:3

@King: I'd imagine it's the latter, because they have nothing to do but poke at us and complain while we sit happily with our new purchases :3

well since the sd card update for the wii i moved all of games to the wii as for the first 3 mario games on the nes being the first ones i downloaded since the purchase of the wii

and now that i got the all stars i didnt bother to delete them because
A: if i wanted to play the originals again its already there and no hassle involved like say i got my own place but dont have the internet right away
B: makes no sense to waste internet bandwith when it could go towards new or other digital purchase
C: if i ran out of space which wont happen for me i'll just get a new sd card and use that instead
