For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Just found hotel mario for the philips cdi!! Now that was crap. Not made by the big N though. Probably for another day here, but did anyone ever play the cdi?
We might have only got around 300 games in the UK but God there was some stinkers! I picked a few of the worst games and did a quick writeup: http://www.nes-bit.com/?p=4142
Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time- Just not very fun. I find myself spaced off in this empty open world. The dungeons are good, but the puzzles aren't very fun or rewarding and there's really nothing Ocarina does better than any of it's predecessor's let alone other Nintendo franchises. I'm hoping the 3DS entry can do itself justice. And yeah... you can put down your pickaxes and torches.
Metroid Other M- Don't get me started.
Luigi's Mansion- I couldn't help myself but to want to well... punch myself in the face when playing this. The controls weren't the best, and the overall gameplay was either frustrating or just plain meh. Theres been countless times where I vacuumed up the ghost perfectly and then there's others where I didn't do it right? Bullcrap. (It's been awhile since Ive played it but all I remember is that I don't like it.)
Star Fox Adventures- Nothing like a poor attempt at a cinematic Star Fox from yours truly Rareware. The voice acting (specifically at the beginning), is FREAKING ANNOYING!!! AAAHHHHH!!!! It's like they're talking in a foreign language and talking about the end of the world and how they're going to destroy Corneria: Aki akiba como estas jiberrish jibberish blah blah Corneria blah sniffle blah jibeerish. Really? And that's music to my ears compared to what they're actually saying. Not only that but take Zelda's gameplay formula and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. That's what its like playing this game. The controls are not inspirational, music is forgettable and with the absence of Falco throughout 95% of the game it isn't what it could be. The only good part is either the graphics or the credits. Assault>>>Adventures.
Yeah, believe it or not, this thread has nothing to do with personal opinion. The OP was asking for games that were criticized by the people who are paid to give their opinions. That makes answering this thread a lot tougher.
Animal Crossing. OK not really I just don't like it.
You and me both dude. I spent an hour with AC Wild World, but i couldn't take it anymore....I couldn't get ounce, one little droplet of fun from that little Hair ripping inducing depressing tedious chore fest. I'm not going back to dullsville ever again, i don't care how rad the animal jibberish is.
Only an hour? Thats not very fair.
Just for you. "I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear." - Freddie Mercury
I dont know what would happen if you shot yourself with a flare gun, lol. But you should go back and play the original. Capturing/donating bugs/fish, paying off your loan, designing your house the way you want, and just expanding and having a great time in the world of Animal Crossing is a memory you wont forget. And if you play the original you get free access to Nintendo NES games such as Excitebike, Pinball, Wario Woods, and Donkey Kong

An hour and 15 minutes.....Actually I think it was longer.lol Can't exactly remmeber, but that's still obviously not long enough. I don't know, i just didn't want to do what i supposed to do. I've seen enough video's of the gameplay, along with other titles in the franchise and there's nothing about it that appeals to me. Yet strangely enough i wanted to give the franchise a shot, and the end result was me wanting to blast my head open with a flare gun, go figure.lol
As I've tried to explain to you before, there's nothing you're really supposed to do. You fill up your time with whatever you want, there's very few consequenses for not doing something. There are really only rewards. Rewards for paying off your debt. Rewards for having the best furnature. Rewards for keeping the weeds in check. Rewards for talking to beople and helping them out. What you're supposed to do is make goals for yourself and feel good for accomplishing them.
I don't know about you, but those things are a hell of a lot easier to do in Animal Crossing. When was the last time you found a fossil? When was the last time you caught a shark in the middle of a storm? When was the last time you redecorated your house? Not that those things are impossible, but in Animal Crossing, you can do them any time you want. Just because it isn't fantasy doesn't mean it can't be an escape from reality.
If hitting a UFO with a Slingshot isn't fantasy I don't know what is.
Also I dare you get a Sofa from a Ghost at 3:00am.
What you're suppose to do though is pay off your house. You do this by doing everything else, selling items, ect. Your satisfaction is being able to upgrade your house. Things can get pretty pricy.
I think the ghost comes out every Friday after Midnight, but this is from the Gamecube version. Not sure if WW dates have changed. I also like to play City Folk on Wi-Fi and just hang out and talk while we catch bugs or fish. It's just one of them kick back and take of your shoes game. That or playing Hide and Seek in the Museum. Also don't forget K.K. Concerts on Saturday! Pick up a song for your CD player!
