Oh man, this looks awesome. I wish the Megaman character sprite thinie was from the NES games, though. But a small detail, I guess :3
Oh, and I want a 3DS version since I don't have one of those pesky HD systems. :3

And that would be totally awesome.

XBLA and PSN, last I heard.

Lucky I got an xbox from my cousins a couple Christmases ago. I better go out and buy some points.
Any guess on how much it might cost?

probably from $15-20, but that's just a guess.

They haven't even announced a release date yet so I wouldn't be buying points this early on unless we get some surprise news within this month.

Regarding the delay, Wikipedia has this to say:

"[...] after the departure of Keiji Inafune, Capcom's Christian 'Sven' Svensson reported that despite the continued silence on the game's development, it was not cancelled, although it had experienced some significant changes due to criticism reguarding unresponsive controls and strong negative feedback regarding the games' art direction."

Sadly it's unsourced. It doesn't sound unlikely to me, but, again, unsourced, so...

That said, would anyone else absolutely flip with joy if they just scrapped the new visual approach and went totally 8-bit with the levels and editor?

I would do more than flip with joy.

I'd flip over backwards and land on my feet! 8-bit graphics encompassing the ENTIRE series, not just a blatant MM2 love letter? Automatic win in my book!

I'd be willing to pay for additional enemy/tile packs as DLC for use in the editor. Let them give us their MM2 wet dream, and give us the chance to download additional elements by game for a small fee. Everybody would win!

...not that I really expect that to happen. Sadly.

Just throwing this out there: It is April 1st in Japan.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

BedCommando

The art direction looked terrible anyway. Definitely did not look like a Mega Man game.
