Did Panic Button ever get around to patching the audio issues in their DOOM port? ..it'd be a shame to do such a great initial job, only to leave it unfinished - kind of makes me concerned that Wolfenstein II (the Bethesda game that I'm most hyped for) might suffer a similar fate :/
Yep, there was an article on here last month confirming Panic Button are behind Wolfenstein 2. It was confirmed by one of the games senior designers, I guess this announcement is just making it official.
@NaviAndMii They haven't patched it yet and I doubt they ever will. They've been getting some stick on Twitter for it and their excuses are wearing thin. They said not long after release that they're looking into it,then weeks later they ''will look into it". Now they're saying it's up to Bethesda so basically they're passing the buck while still advising everyone should just restart from the last checkpoint. Or for those unfortunate ones who can't even get the game past the title screen to reboot their Switch. It's unacceptable in my opinion and I've let them know that. They've lost a lot of respect from me.
Playing the New Order right now on PS4. I'm about halfway through and I know I will be getting the sequel. I'll certainly be picking up the Switch release if I can.
@OorWullie Ouch! Yeah, I've been putting off buying DOOM until I was sure that it was all patched up - and it just dawned on me that I've not really heard anything about it in months - not great to hear that! (..or about the far-from-reassuring communication either!)
WII probably won't be a Day 1 purchase for me then, in that case...
Can't decide whether to buy this on Switch or Xbox One. I play 95% docked so am not to fussed on portability. I want to show support to developers bringing games to Switch but I have The New Order and The Old Blood on Xbox and it feels right to have them all on the same console.
Is it coming out already? That snuck on me somehow, I didn't even know there was a release date for it. Not going to be Day One, but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
@NaviAndMii Doom was patched around 1 month ago, not only patched but they added motion controls, improved resolution and textures as well as fix the sound bug. It's amazing now, the motion controls add so much to the experience. I wasn't too happy with them for not addressing the audio issues but since they went the extra mile they're in my good books again.
@NaviAndMii Oops just noticed your comment was from January haha
@DTMOF84 highly recommend the series. I enjoyed both a lot particularly The Old Blood but a lot of people were not keen on this one. I would say if you can pick it up at a reasonable price give it a go.
I own the first game, think on PS4 but have held off on the sequel to see how it plays on the Switch. Iโll happily support Bethesda as long as they continue supporting the Switch.

@Spoony_Tech Looks like another superb port by Panic Button, not that I had any doubts. Can't wait! Hopefully we'll find out when it will release pretty soon.
