@GameOtaku So you’re saying it’s more worth it to pay about $21 for three games with no extras compared to $20 for seven games (that are all great) with extras.OK
When did they call this a complete collection? Unless if they said or implied in someway it was a complete collection, it isn’t misleading at all.
Calling this overpriced is ridiculous. $20 for 7 superb beat'em ups, with various extras such as wallpaper, screen ratio, filter and on top of that online co-op. It's the complete opposite of anti-consumer.I fully expected it to cost $40 like Street Fighter 30th and would have happily paid it. So to see it only costing half that was very pleasing. Already bought it, can't wait!
Next Thursday or Friday I'll be playing Final Fight online, Knights of the Round online, Double Dragon NES online, River City Ransom online and much more. Its all very exciting.
@GameOtaku The amount of things you've complained about in this thread is unreal. I haven't even read page 2 yet, just 1 and 3.
So because this collection of 7 arcade games doesn't feature 2 SNES games it's a rip off and anti-consumer! Yes it doesn't specifically state it's an arcade collection but it's pretty clear from the list of games that it is. 7 full games including 2 never before released, lots of extras and online play to boot all for $20. It's the very definition of a gaming bargain.
You complain that it should be 'local co-op only' to be more social and so you don't have to pay Nintendo $20. Yet it has local co-op and if you didn't have online membership it would be local co-op only anyway.
You complain that they will probably release the other games missing from this bundle as DLC for $10 a piece, even though this collection of 7 is $20.Yep, perfect logic right there.
You complain about arcades and don't understand the fuss over them becaue you inserted what 20 cents into one and nothing happened. Perhaps you had to insert 30 cents? So that must make them overrated then! Anyone with a knowledge of gaming who grew up in that period knows very well what the arcades offered over console gaming. The arcades were magical places and for a long time the games within them were far ahead of what we were playing at home. It was console gaming on steroids!
No doubt I could add another couple of paragraphs to this after reading the 2nd page but I'll stop there.
Apparently arcade gamers live throwing their money away obviously because that's what they were designed for. A Capcom bump collection not having Final Fight 2 and 3 is just ridiculous.

Oh yes, I'm just throwing my money away. A whole $20 for a measly seven beat-em-ups, amd they don't even include those other two sequels! Boy, they sure conned me!
There's definitely something ridiculous here, but I'm not sure it's what you think it is.

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
@GameOtaku It never advertises it's self as a "complete" collection. It advertises it's self as an "Arcade beat em up collection". You keep making assumptions and reading things in that aren't there. Where are you seeing that this is suppose to be a collection of all Capcom's games in that style? It's not even a collection of all of their arcade games in that style.
I guess we just have to accept that Capcom is just going to halfa** all its so called "collections"! Megaman Classic collections only half physical and missing the power fighter arcade games as well as battle and chase, a street fighter collection missing alpha 2 gold and alpha
3 upper, and now a beat em up collection not including the 2 sequels to its hit final fight franchise!
Little wonder people turn to emulation if the companies are only going to do things halfway why even bother? 2 and 3 don't rate very high but that's no excuse. I for one would love to own those games but the only options are very limited and require way more money than the collection costs! The snes games go for a ridiculous amount of money, it's on vc but only on new 3ds and wiiu so that would also end up costing well over $200 just to play 2 games which could have been included in a $30 collection!
I have hundreds of arcade games on MAME but I will buy this day one because I absolutely love beat 'em up games and playing these on the go would be so awesome. It's why Golden Axe and Streets of Rage 1 & 2 are my favourite Mega Drive games.

@ReaderRagfish to each their own of course. I’m quite content with the SF collection as I prefer the arcade versions. Way easier to keep track of revision changes for me.
