Honestly I don't know what to make of it being an exclusive. On the one hand I can't blame Sony for doing what MS did to them with Rise of the Tomb Raider and I think its great that they are sticking it to MS.
On the other hand I think its just horrible that companies are playing this way. Honestly if the companies were for the gamers they wouldn't care what system the game is on their objective should be to get it out on as many platforms as they can for everyone to enjoy. But alas that will probably only happen in a perfect world.
Even though I will be picking it up at some point since SF is my second favorite fighting game franchise right behind Tekken.

Are they really sticking it to Microsoft though, usually these deals happen long in advance meaning that the deal for exclusive street fighter V happened around the time Deep Down was made, and Likewise the Microsoft deal was probably made around the VGAs time.
The game looks cool, but i'm hoping this is just a concept phase.

I think the idea that "exclusive" and "also on PC" are the same thing sums things up pretty well.
Yep its funny becuase while all these exclusives (Bayo2, SFV, Tomb Raider) make the console space far more interesting all its doing is making more people go to the PC and wait the console exclusives out to the end of the generation where everything is super cheap.

Well it looks good, but I have to wonder how much they can improve it from SFIV besides the graphics. Otherwise, this isn't a system seller for me. However if I already had the PS4 I'd be a lot more interested.
It's sadly amusing how broke capcom is. Its the reason why Monster Hunter is Nintendo only (IV should really be on Wii U), Street Fighter and Deep Down are playstation, and Dead Rising 3 was Microsoft exclusive. Also while its the start of the gen and were seeing new entries in all the big series Capcom is putting out a HD remake and an episoidic game for Resident Evil.
It will be interesting too see how this move does. Even with the large PS4 market share fighting games don't sale all that well and street fighter IV did great but nothing to shake it upon its first release on two systems. Killer Insitcnt gets a pass due to lower expectations and it being a first party games, and Warner Bros fighting games (mortal Kombat, Injustice) does well since they have alot of AAA things like a story mode.

I'm shaking your hand right now because I like what you said.
I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

People are jumping to conclusions too quickly that this was a paid exclusive. If this were XB1 exclusive, I'd do the same, but a couple of red flags are raised here.
1. The PS4 is more powerful than the XB1. That's just a fact. It's possible that SF5 just doesn't run on XB1. It also has more features in general.
2. Capcom is broke as all hell, the game might be possible on XB1, but simply cost too much to optimize. PS4 is doing better worldwide, and XB1 practically doesn't exist in Japan.
3. PC is NOT a Sony platform. Sony doesn't even make money on computers. But PC IS a Microsoft platform. Microsoft may not get licensing fees, but they do reap a benefit when someone purchases a PC with Windows on if for gaming. So Sony paying for a game to be on PS4 AND PC, doesn't make as much sense as Microsoft paying for a game to be on XB1 and PC.

Those SF IV/V screens look almost identical, except for the massive lack of lighting on V. That seems to be trendy these days though. "Dark and mature" sells, and apparently that just means dimming the lights.
"Make it dusk! And more scowly faces! This game has to sell well to mopey teenagers!"
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
How is it okay when Sony do it but when Microsoft does it... There's uproar and screaming?
Bias.
Seriously... Where's the uproar and disgust?!
We do not know the deal behind the scenes.

New gameplay video (though it feels the same as the last video):
Probably too early to pass judgment but it is kinda boring so far, and not too different from SFIV. Would be nice to see some more lighting and nicer backgrounds to show off the graphics better.

It's most likely a very early build given the lack of animated backgrounds, character models look impressive though.

This looks barely better than a PS3/XBOX 360 game, just slightly. I like how there's more going on in the environments, the character models look cooler and a little more sculpted and detailed than IV's, but ultimately this doesn't scream next gen at all....This isn't a night and day difference, not even a half way mark.
I've always liked how Street Fighter I, II, III and iV all looked completely different from one another, all boasting different styles, but V is too similar to IV.
Silent Hills however looks mind blowing visually, THAT is a next gen stunner
well you aren't going to have anything that screams next gen unless you have a game with photorealistic graphics, with a game using an art style like this most likely you will just see improved textures, smoother frame rates, and greatly improved particle effects.
