New trailer came out for SF V. Its the usual Ryu VS Chun Li that they always seem to do for a new SF game but in ending has a surprise.
Is that Nash/Charlie at the end?
Yes.
I looked at that gameplay and it doesn't look like something new. It is obviously work in progress, so there is a room for improvement, but for now it looks like little more shiny version of SFIV from PS3/360.
Pretty excited about it so far. I'll be getting it for PC. I will likely wait until the second revision comes out though. I ended up buying every revision of IV and I wasn't happy about that...especially since i bought the anniversary box. Still SF are my roots so I must give Capcom some cash. Love the lighting effects on Ryu's hands.

I don't really think you can say the graphical fidelity is any better than 4, it's just a different art style. The problem with Street Fighter is that it's tied to it's 2D roots, an when they've tried to change that it's not the same game. I would like to see them:
A. Make some of the levels bigger, maybe even with floors or corners you could turn down, but keeping the fighters close. You could have interactive stages- not like Injustice, but maybe with weapons, crates, and sticks to use. You could make the background crowd a threat, or even Dhalsim's Elephants.
B. Give a more in depth story arc or mode, somewhat like Mortal Kombat or Injustice had.
C. Return to non-playable bosses who have a bit of mystique and difficulty to them. Maybe even make a giant character or one that isn't just a humanoid figure, or two characters as a boss. Something to change up the formula. They could even start with a smaller roster and make you unlock characters.
Of course none of this will happen unfortunately, you'll just get SF4 with a different art style and 6 more characters.
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

Looks to me from the trailer they do have interactive backgrounds.
The problem with having non playable bosses is that sooner or later people want to play as the bosses.
