Ooh! I just thought of another one!

The ending of Super Mario 64 DS, when I realized I never had to play that stupid game ever again!:')

Final Fantasy XI, when I realized I got the trial code for the non-existant European Trial version, and now I can never play it unless I buy it, thus ruining my dream of playing every numbered game in the series.

But I played the trial last month, and I'm from Sweden...

Where did you get it? Even the European site keeps giving me the NA one.=/

A guy from youtube asked me the same question not long ago so I´ll just copy+paste what I told him k? :

"1.Search "final fantasy xi trial" on Google.
2.Click on the first link.
3.Click on "Obtain registration code".
4.Type your email adress and you should get your registration code on your mail.
5.Now,click on the 4th google link, the fileplanet one.
6.If you don't have a account, make one. If you do have one,log in,type that security code and now I guess where you choose where to download from, don't know actually
But if your from USA I think you should just choose one of the links that says "USA". Im from Sweden though so I choose "International Preferred Server".
Lastly, if you don't have a certain program, the download will stop and you won't finish, atleast it happen'd to me. To avoid this, when the download starts,a yellow bar should appear on top of the "window",right click on it,install it,and start the download.
I'm sorry if you don't understand, but this is what I did. Good luck! "

This is what I told him,he didn't reply so I don't know if it worked, but it should!

I hear its amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on hari-kiri rock!!! I NEED SCISSORS!!! 61!!!

No video game story has brought me to tears, but if I really get into a game a feel dissappointed when I finish it and its over. I call it by its medical term of Post Gaming Depression

Thanks for the info, dude. Actually, someone was nice enough to get me a Trial Code for the U.S. version, but I'll keep that in mind in case something goes terribly wrong.

Huh, I thought I already posted on this thread. Oh well, here goes:

In The Wind Waker when Link comes back to Outset Island, and his Grandma is all sick(probably the music ).
In Drawn to Life at the end song.
and in FFX a couple different times.

I forgot about Drawn to Life. That ending made me choke up a bit.

  • When I played Chrono Trigger for the first time (on the PSX), I cried when Crono died, and when you initially try to revive him (it gave you the impression that you actually fail at this endeavor). I absolutely BALLED.
  • The RPG classic, death of Aeris in Final Fantasy VII.
  • When everyone got all martyr-ey in Final Fantasy IV (Cid's scene really choked me up).
  • The end of The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess got me real bad... Midna... ;(
  • The end of Out Of The World got me real good as a little kid. So close, yet so far away...
  • Final Fantasy IX's ridiculously long ending got me me big time at the end, it proved that you sometimes happy can be a heartwrencher too.
  • (Because I LOVE good romances) various moments throughout Final Fantasy VIII slayed me. None more so than when Squall and Rinoa are on the bridge of the Ragnarok and the song "Eyes On Me" comes on.
  • Arc The Lad 2... the ending absolutely killed me. I REALLY don't want to post spoilers for this one, it's too good.

And yes, I did take an extremely prolonged period of time to think of my list.

so many people are saying Final Fantasy X. I thought the worst part of that game was the story, right after the voice acting. It wasn't bad, but Tidus is annoying, and I actually laughed at some parts that were supposed to be sad or dramatic. I'm not saying it's a bad game, because it's amazing, but I thought the story was pretty stupid.

Wow Grappler, you got some leaky eyes I'm just joking. Anyways, somebody else mentioned it already, but the Silent Hill games, especially Silent Hill 2, are some of the most emotional games I've ever played.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. The first ending I received was the "good" ending with the song acceptance playing during the credits. The way Cheryl viewed her father after a bitter divorce at the age of seven just got me all choked up especially when Harry said "you shouldn't be recording this, know that I love you and always will." I pretty much cried when Cheryl did.

Sorry brandon, I'll take your word for it but I can't read your post since I have yet to play the game yet Some Silent Hill spoilers here: I felt really bad when Lisa died in SH1, when Harry Mason was killed in SH3, and the several times Maria died in SH2. I also felt really bad when I had to kill Eddie, and when Angela presumably walked up the fiery stairs to her death.

Tails

There are only 3 games that have.
#1 when Sora struck himself with the Rikus Keyblade (the one that unlocks peoples hearts) to set Kiaris free. Cause he really cares for her.
#2. Chrono Trigger If you haven't played the Game (you don't know what your missing) The entire scene of Lavos and Chrono in the game is just so sad.
#3 Super Mario Galaxy when Luma died saving the world (of course with the other stars from the explosion of bowsers galaxy.)

I'm the most sensitive ex-pugilist you'll ever meet, lol. This is only exacerbated by the fact that I have to stay at home with two little girls everyday. Even the coldest hearts would melt when their 5 year old baby girl says to them (mid FF7 sequence): "Is the flower girl okay?"

But yeah, I totally have leaky eyes too, lol.

Okay, I got a real one this time: **spoiler alert** In Chrono Trigger, after you help Fiona with her forest and whats-her-face with the glasses goes back in time to see her mom lose her legs, and how she took up science out of her guilt for not being able to do anything to help her. Man...and here I thought the lady didn't move because she didn't feel like going anywhere. First time a game made me cry in long time.

Ooh jeez, Mickeymac, thanks for reminding me. I just lost it again reading that.

You can add that moment to my previous list, and I can't believe I actually forgot that, as Lucca is a favorite of mine.

Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

JeanLuc_Vaycard

Lucca watching her Mom's legs getting crushed is indeed a sad sad moment.
