When you play a game that's lets you choose between good and evil, which do you generally prefer?
I perfer to play as evil. I find it so much more fun, I enjoy embracing the darkside in KOTOR and KOTOR 2 and I love going around in Infamous frying people.
I'm playing KOTOR right now (got it during the Steam Autumn sale). For the most part, I tend to be good, at least when I'm talking to people. But then I break into houses and steal stuff or start random fights. And then there's Carth. He is just so annoying that I have to be mean to him.
Usually I do both. Depending on my mood I will do my first play through one way than my second play through I will do the other way. When it comes to games like World of Warcraft I have both good and evil characters and play the one I am in the mood for at the time.

I don't play games that allow me to do that, but IRL I do both, I'm a kindhearted sweet otaku with a sensitive loving side, but I can also be sinister an prideful, get on my bad side and mwahahaaha

Although if it helps any, I prefer being on the Dark Team in KI:U. Possibly because of the Dark Fighter idol description, possibly because black is one of my if not my favorite color. Both are nice.

I agree. Great minds think alike, eh?
I foresee what you'll do there.

I tend to be the good guy, although if there's a neutral route i tend to go as neutral as possible. The bad guy is fun, but pointless since the coolest bosses are evil not nice.

You can still have evil bosses in games where decide to play as evil. While good has reason to be on the same side evil can easily find a reason to kill other evil people.
I usually go for playing as a good guy, at least on my first playthrough. I really don't like playing an evil person if I have the choice, unless if my form of evil is the funny kind (like Disgaea).

Surprised nobody's brought up fable yet.
I like making some rude gestures to the jerks in Fable, but that's about as far as I go. The rest of the time I'm a gentlemen. :3
And y'know, no more heroes, because Travis.

Good. I love blasting the baddies away in InFamous, then going around reviving all the injured people caught in the fight, & restraining the bad guys instead of killing them, if possible.
It's cool because people actually start treating you like a hero (puting up posters of you around the city, cheering whenever they see you, ect).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Depends on the game. For example I had a hard time being good in Baldur's Gate because being bad was so much more fun. Games like Kotor I was bad until I learned the truth about Revan. Then I switched over to being good to prove that lame Jedi council wrong. I never play a game planning on being good or bad, I just do what I want and see where it takes me.
I get guilt from some of the most pointless things I do, so no way I could just do it in a video game without feeling the guilt, so I always to the good thing and be the hero. XD
In the KOTOR games I would be good so I wouldnt be so freaking ugly. But I would do things randomly if it was necessary (Like kill some guy for a lightsaber part instead of going on a fetch mission on a different planet for him)
