Congratulations, you summed up this entire thread in three words. I'm a little disappointed, to be honest, although not entirely surprised. I just wish there were more people pointing out guys like, say, LJN, or whoever develops the shovelware on the Wii. you know, people who actually make loads of bad games.

Forgot some.

Treyarch-Activision needs to use them for something other than shooters, 'cause they suck at making them. They should stick with Infinity Ward for their shooters.
Epic Games-I hated Gears of War.

Except without Treyarch, Infinity Ward wouldn't have the development time needed to keep up with that level of quality.

Well not anymore. Activision recently opened a new studio for Call of Duty, didn't they? Before that, you are right.

There's a rumor that the new studio will be working of Call of Duty, but it's just a rumor right now.

Despite not liking any of their recent stuff, I still love Epic Games because of the original UT and more recently, the Unreal Dev Kit! It's not just any day that the best engine in town becomes free!

I guess I never cared for EA much. Well, I did enjoy their many Bond games on Cube and Tsumuji for DS looks like it may be pretty sweet. I still dislike EA as a company, but I don't let that stop me from picking up games that interest me. I really loved how EA switched Bond over to 3rd person; From Russia With Love was EA's best bond game.

Activision lost a lot of respect from me for what they did with Quantum of Solace.

It don't get the Halo hate. It may be over rated, but it is by no means a bad series. It's especially annoying since no one ever has a good reason to hate them.

Anyways, i'd say ... uh ... I dunno, I like each company for different reasons ... maybe Capcom? Only for how much they milk their series. Other than that, Capcom is awesome.

Maybe Epic Games. Gears of War is really over rated, and just not very fun. And apart from that, I don't know what else they've done.

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

Isn't that the truth.

And now there's even people on here saying games like The Conduit are better because of Wii controls.

Makes me think (A) they're just kidding or (B) people say outrageous things just to bash Halo.

And these are the same people that complain about other people who ridicule Mario or Zelda for no real reason.

Bungie - Halo is the single worst franchise on the 360.

Sony - For the commercials that treat consumers like they're idiots, and for having company heads that never stop running their mouths off.

WB Games Chicago - For not actually planning to release games (as far as I know), and for having the stupidest name ever. >: (

This should be interesting

How so?

(I'm affraid I'll get my systems taken away after this but here goes)

Team Ninja- I liked Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox but NG:Black, NG2, and the DOA series are some of my least favorite games ever.

Sonic Team- I hate Sonic period. Press right to win just never did it for me. Nights (Saturn version) was boring. Add to that their recent entries into the gaming pantheon and it makes me wonder how Sonic ever became a gaming icon. I admit I never tried the Billy Hatcher game they did that I heard was pretty good.

Rockstar- Same S**t, Different Box.

Turtle Rock Studios- Left 4 Dead has been, in my opinion, the WORST game of this generation. The game was done better as an Xbox Live game called Zombie Apocalypse or even the XBL Indie game I Made a Game With Zombies In It!!!!1111!!! (which costs a buck), ok they're more like Robotron 2084 with zombies, but at least you don't have to either A) make sure you have some friends that are ploaying so you don't get lumped in with the Rambo's or Brosephs from the local college to play with or B) brain dead computer controlled teammates that make it impossible to really have fun.

I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.

For having the system's most annoying fanbase (talking console exclusive games of course). I join several conversations about gaming, and a lot of the times, it winds up deteriorating into a coversation about the series... and don't get me started about flamers on Youtube...

EDIT: NINJA'D!

Actually I like Sonys ads. The newer ones are some of the best video game related ads I've ever seen. Much better than their old creepy doll head or Nintendo's lame "Wii would like to play" commercials.

I don't really dislike any particular developers, but there are a few franchises I'm not too excited about, like Halo and GTA. Halo is alright, I guess, and GTA is a LOT of fun while it lasts, but neither is that great.

Personally I think it's a little immature to hate a game developer over a single game or a franchise. I bet even the worst developers have made a decent game or two, and it would be silly to dismiss the company as a whole. Should I hate Nintendo if they make a game/franchise I don't like (cough*Pokemon*cough)?

Not if their games vary from game to game, but it seems that most developers have one game and then release the same game over and over with a new skin.

@RowdyRodimus: Well, I liked those Wii ads. They actually showcased the games really well (save for the one about SSBB). The ones for Super Paper Mario and SMG were beautiful.

I'm just wondering if we are talking about the same ones. The one's I'm talking about had the guys drive up in the VW or whatever it was, ring the doorbell and then present the people a Wiimote. I don't think I ever saw one with Paoper Mario or Galaxy, so those are new to me.

Yes, they were featured in those commercials. I think the Mario Galaxy one took place in a theater or something like that.

Yeah, but this happens with every one of these threads.
Regarding people not listing shovelware makers, who can remember them?

I almost forgot the biggest offender in my book: Koei. They've been pimping the same tired game for nearly a decade and 15+ rehashes.

Rock Star Games for making GTA. Also, Data Design for making crappy shovelware on Wii.
