If we get another update soon for DSi what do you think it will be
A Flash Playing Browser
The Long Awaited Gba GB Console Download or Maybe something else

a faster browser would be very nice as well

Any update they throw at us will either be the VC or a pointless feature, most likely a piracy and homebrew block.

An update won't upgrade the browser, you'll just have to redownload that from the DSi Shop, rather than update the system memory for it.

Also, I reckon a VC for the DSi will be announced at E3, so hopefully we'll get that sooner rather than later.

i think maybe a newer menu or a way to send pics from a far point a to point b and maybe even the music app to play mp3 files

a youtube app and twitter app and FLIP book DSi and a media app for watching movies off your SD card.

This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade. And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare

All the stuff you want is stuff that would be released as an app on the Shop Channel, but NOT as part of DSi firmware update.

I downloaded a new DSi firmware update on 5/13, what does it do?

I wish they would add the ability to navigate the system settings menu, camera menu, voice recorder menu and the web browser with the d-pad and buttons.

did you just now attempt to connect it to the DSi Shop? if so, everyone has to get that before you can go on the internet with it. don't really know what it does, but you can't open the DSi Shop and download the Internet Browser there without getting the update first.

Hm, I just noticed something about the sound. I basically turned it off (most minimum setting possible) but I can still hear a noise coming from the speakers. And if I shoot photos with no sound on it still makes the camera's 'click' noise.
BTW, is there any way to turn that off? It's pretty loud in my opinion.

The guide book says you can't turn off the camera sound . It's probably to discourage people from taking photos of other people without them knowing about it

Yeah, the cameras on cell phones are the same way now, too. I hate it, because I often see neat things I want pictures of (usually insects, or something interesting on the side of the road) and when the camera sound goes off, everyone turns to look at me. Which is kind of embarrassing.

It would be one thing if I was snapping pictures in a bathroom or up somebody's skirt or something, but for crying out loud, don't punish the rest of us!

You take pictures of insects? That is embarrassing.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

Red_Silurian

A firmware update for the DSi to use higher capacity SD cards like the Wii up to 32GB (You never know... You might need it)

How is taking pictures of insects embarrassing? If something looks really interesting to you chances are you would take a picture of it if you could.

Anyway I don't have a DSi yet but can't you just turn the sound off?
