I'm kinda hoping they'll "TTYD/SPM us" story-wise...where you think Bowser is the main villain, but find out towards the end that he was just being a puppet for an all new villain.

After Constant dissapointment with Nintendo's creativity for Mario games this year such as Peach getting kidnapped 3 times within 4 months, and over use of the Koopalings as boss placements. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say the final boss is in fact....BOWSER.
I suspect it won't be Bowser. Don't know why, but that seems like it's too 'obvious', and like something Intelligent Systems would try and avoid. My suspicion only grew after seeing that recent Nintendo World Report video where Kersti mentions the Sticker Comet and it being dangerous to touch, I suspect there's something far more to this whole scenario than we're being led to believe.
It is a mario rpg. I assume it will mind screw you in some way.
