and lol at the 2DS XL, the 2DS is almost 3DSXL sized(it would be but it doesn't have the hinges, that makes it smaller)

Well seeing the situation that nintendo is these days, Its more like a dream than reality for this to happen.
what situation is Nintendo in? the 3DS is still doing great so I don't see why they wouldn't make more limited edition themed 3DSes(those count as different models, right?)

since limited editions don't seem to count(sorry for mistaking it) I think they might still do a 2DS Lite(maybe one with hinges)

seriously guys you should stop thinking about if nintendo will do another version of the 3DS. there are already 3 very different versions. each has its own good features and audience.
now grab the 3DS of your choice and play some freaking games! there is more than enough to do

Huh, the 2DS is only slightly taller than a closed XL. It's other dimensions are smaller.
Depends on what was added to it. Bigger screens alone are not justifiable enough for me to purchase it which is why I still have the original model. A second circle pad would have to be included, longer battery life, a deeper 3D effect as well as the larger screen. If it didn't have any of this then no.
This with only slightly bigger screens than the original 3DS and yes!

I would not get it. Even if they added the second circle pad, only a handful of games use them. Besides that, I already have a normal and an XL, a third one for me would be overkill.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
It is possible since we got Gameboy Mirco and DSi. Maybe we get a brand new feature that any of the 3DS model do not have but the model is still in the 3DS family?
