Inkling

3DS + that can stream Wii U games, bigger screens (like the DSi was for the DS lite) and better 3D/battery. Have this in lots of colours and bam! Instant buy.
I can dream, can't I?

I will update this when Half Life 3 arrives. [Started 17/11/2015]

Well since "NINTENDO" develop a 3D version of "Game Boy Advance SP", I think create a 3DS in the vein of the "Game Boy Advance SP" and launch the "Game Boy Advance Virtual Console" with that.

wow i have no idea what you are talking about.

Yeah. The man whho helped build the "Game Boy Advance SP" said he had the prototype in his drawer (I forgot where the last part was from). http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/32434/Nintendos_Iwata_Reve...

Nintendo 3DS XL Pro. Two circle pads, four shoulder buttons, better hinges than XL, and better speakers than XL. Yes. Anything other than that would be a no.

And make an expensive console that close to no games will take advantage of.

Two circle pads and four shoulder buttons that nothing will use. Brilliant

I don't see why that'd be a thing that wouldn't be expected... But I can't see what they can actually add at this point.

Looking at the DS family, it went from DS to DS Lite to DSi to DSi XL. A big, clunky system to a slimmed down version to a version that could go online (but not play GBA games) with a camera to bigger screens.

We already have all of that with the 3DS and 3DS XL alone... And there's not much (again, that I can see) that they could add in a new model. Besides a 2DS XL...

I wouldn't buy it, of course. I don't have that kind of money.

I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite

I'd like to see a "3DSi" of sorts, some kind of upgraded model that has upgrades to its internet and apps, and a second Circle Pad.

Make a 3DS with a screen bigger than XL, capacitive screen with 720p and call it the 3D tablet. I buy it even if I need to sell my kidney.

Would love to see a 3DS with the design like the DS Lite. Would trade in my XL in a heart beat. I just love the looks of the DS Lite

I would get one if they increased the build quality (And it was an XL not bothered about 3D - some increase in hardware and I definitely would (Double the RAM or whatever like the Dsi had)).

Keep in mind that upgrades need to be practical without making the previous hardware completely obsolete.

I doubt we'll see a 3DS with a capacitive touch screen, extra buttons, and a second circle pad. There's just no real need for them

This.

It's like people ignore the fact that changing a console that much would make it a different console, not a remodel.

Or better, Nintendo makes a 3DS attachment for your Wii U. Play your 3DS games on your TV and gamepad!

Second Circle Pad is an appropriate upgrade, it'd mainly be for camera control, which isn't really necessary, but definitely a nice improvement.

But by far, the biggest necessity IMO is more RAM for the Internet Browser. 3DS' internet is just plain garbage, half the pages on the internet are too large to load on that thing.

and they should also make one to play 3DS games on 2DS but in 3D! because the 2DS deserves to have 3D.

You guys talk as if the 2DS and 3DS were different consoles

Then again, I guess that's the joke.
