I think today was definitely better for those who didn't get to go to E3. Seeing the 3DS in action sold a lot of people, including myself, even though all the units were just running movies. But since its impossible to see the technology working its magic without the unit sitting in front of you, all these announcements and screenshots are huge to win over general public. Can't wait!
Today, because I finally got my only question for the 3DS answered and now I know that DSiWare is transferable! DDDD
I'm pretty okay.

@E3 Nintendo: "IT'S 3D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, and WITHOUT GLASSES!!!!!!!!!!!! It has an analog slider, and actual third-party support this time! And motion controls! And good online! And stuff! Too bad we don't really have any good playable demos, just Ridge Racer and a bunch of trailers."
"It has a date! And a price! And Virtual Console! And you can transfer DSiWare! And the StreetPass will be brilliant, look! And the SpotPass will be brilliant, look! And look, it's gonna come with 6 augmented reality cards right out of the box, and it will be a new gimmick that sweeps the nation(s) by storm, look! And the new menu is awesome, there's a Mii creator, and the 3DS can even multitask, look! Oh, and here's 50 bajillion games coming out for it at launch, and we actually have plentiful trailers/demos/screens at least for them now, look!" look meaning it's not just talk; you can see how the features might actually work!
Although Dragoon makes a good point. The E3 announcement and the reveal (according to media people at the show, such as Corbie) that this was the real deal will be very memorable for a very long time.

today was great, a lot of questions were answered, and nintendo gave us exactly what we wanted: DSiware transfer, Mii Channel, Virtual Console. Today was exciting, other than the NA release date being in March. They still haven't made a solid release date, they just narrowed it down to the month of March. I wish it could come to NA earlier, maybe November, or January. But I guess we will just have to suffer for 5 months before we can buy it. and aren't those Resident Evil graphics amazing?

Today was by far the best for the 3DS. Sure at E3 it was nice to see it unveiled to the world, but the game line-up, specs, and such were so vague. I can't believe the news that is coming out...the portable VC has me most excited.
