Topic: Two More EB-Exclusive 3DS Editions Headed Down Under

Anybody remember the Legend of Zelda Ocarina Edition which 3DS owners down under could get when they preordered The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D? If not, it looks something like this.

Well, EB Games has now listed two more 3DS game bundles for Aussies and New Zealanders to preorder, the Super Mario 3D Land Tanooki Edition, which comes with an adorable Tanooki Suit hat; and the Mario Kart 7 Power-Up Edition, which includes the iconic cap worn on the plumber's head since the good ol' days of Super Mario Bros.

It seems as though Nintendo's started to notice Australia and New Zealand a lot more in recent months. Aussies and New Zealanders, what are your thoughts on all these exclusive goodies for dedicated 3DS owners? Those from the United States or Europe, how do you feel about Australia getting all the good preorder bonuses? As always, discuss below!

By the way, I hope it was okay to link to your news article, James. If not, I humbly apologise.

W-T-F!!!! All we get is a god damn key chain with Mario Land! I would literally KILL for that sweet hat! I'm not too bent out of shape about the Mario Kart thing because of the Club Nintendo hat but its still better than the nothing that we get. I'm definitely tracking one of those Tanooki hats down on eBay after the game launches.

I'm cool with that. nintendo doesn't really do collector's editions anyway so no skin off my back.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

EB Games is in Australia? Do you have GameStop too, since they own EB Games.

EB Games is the trading name for GameStop in Australia. Evidence? Buck the Bunny is EB's mascot as well.

I wish we got some nice free merch in the UK. Really has dried up over the past year. The very, very few games that have store bonuses are always DLC codes. I think all we have for a while in the UK is some toad headphones with either Mario Kart/world. I want that hat, my cat would look great in it.

I love gaming toys but buying such pre-order items on the second hand market can be expensive. - I have said it many times, I wish a forums somewhere (all gaming formats) had a topic where people would update on pre-order bonuses. just like this thread as done but for the UK game stores. I am useless at shopping around and often forget a few shops in my price search.

That's right. We don't even get SM3DL or Skyward Sword till the 24th of November. We may get Mario Kart 7 on the 1st of December though (don't other territories get it mid-December?).

You can be forgiven for not noticing my sarcasm because I don't think you know me very well. Also, this is the internet.

I thought this was for America for a second, and freaked out when I saw $68

woah? $68? ..... that's pretty damn good considering they still sell Mario Kart DS for the same price... but I guess I'll probably still get it at JBs for something closer to $59

Oh, and 1AUD buys more than 1USD so it's probably closer to $70US and I still think it's a good price for a 3DS game. I guess that's because the average Australian has 4x the amount of money as the average American ATM which means we look at $68AU and see what Americans see when they look at $17US
