You're so clever. I've never, EVER heard that one before.

i love my 3DS. I've wanted it since the day I heard about it. My only obstacle was no money. I finally got it around my birthday. I have yet to play a single 3DS game or download a VC or 3DSware game. Yet I have to say it is my favorite handheld console. My favorite game system of all time is the SNES.

Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword

hmmm I'll have to wait for titles such as: Monster hunter 3g and or 4, That new Zelda game, Super smash bros., Kid Icarus uprising to come out before I decide if it's my favorite system. Right now the Wii holds that spot.

But it is my favorite Portable gaming system B) 3D = Win.

The favorite part about the DS was local multiplayer, that was always the best part. With the 3DS, there weren't any games that I could play with my brother or sister besides maybe Street Fighter, but that wasn't much fun with our unbalanced skill levels. Hopefully that will change with me after tomorrow with Mario Kart and Starfox but even then our choices are pretty slim. Once Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Super Smash Bros and hopefully some other fun multiplayer downloadable games (like Pop Island 3D!), then I am confident that the 3DS will be my favorite handheld ever. Great singleplayer, multiplayer (local and online), Streetpass, Spotpass and QR codes all in one package will easily boost the 3DS to the top for me

"Favorite gaming system of all time" is still a title that describes the SNES for me.But the 3DS has a lot of things going for it; It can play Ocarina of Time, considered by many to be one of the best games ever, if not the best, in 3D, on the go, with new additions. And only three months after launch. That right there is a big accolade. Not to mention Super Mario 3D Land, which is an amazing platformer, and Mario Kart 7, which appears to be the best Mario Kart out there right now. Star Fox 64 being remade in 3D with a better multiplayer can't be considered a bad thing either! Not to mention we can compile a collection of classic portable games, and even some classic home console games, without having a giant bag of carts with us at all times; We simply have to scroll over to the icon of a game like Link's Awakening, and boom. It launches immediately. Plus all of the simpler, but neat, functions of the 3DS like the 3D cameras and AR games.

I just got my 3DS about a month ago (special Zelda edition!) and I think it's off-the-walls fantastic. There are so many things you can do with it and so many free applications to download and enjoy. It seems like great new things are arriving on my 3DS each day. Just yesterday I Streetpassed two girls at Wal-Mart and just through their messages I found out that we had a lot in common. Really cool stuff.

Next year it might be my favorite system, period.

I agree. I think the 3DS is my favorite game system ever, even though they didn't release Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga as an ambassador GBA game...
Wait. Nintendo needs to make a new Mario and Luigi RPG; that would make me the happiest 3DS owner alive.

I'm with you here, I was really hoping for Superstar Saga as one of our ambassador games. Those Mario & Luigi RPGs are AWESOME! o-o When Nintendo makes an M&L RPG for 3DS then it will be my favourite system EVER. :3

Regards to Smash Bros.- It's interesting that Best Buy has Super Smash Bros. listed now. Not sure if it's old news, but retailers don't really put up games on their site 2-3 years before a game is coming out or even when the games isn't in development.

The Wii is my favorite Nintendo home system ever and the 3DS is my favorite handheld system ever.
No one is going to agree with me though cause they are so wrapped up in nostalgia.
It always keeps going back to the Snes being the favorite because of all those fuzzy childhood memories.
Snes only plays Snes games. The Wii plays a butt load more and then some.
Same deal with the 3DS. Every Nintendo handheld on one system = awesome!

Your making it sound like a bad thing. So what if some has a different opinion than you? They like the SNES for different reasons, accept it. Plus the Wii only has a handful of SNES games, not all of them. Which is automatically a downfall of the VC service you claim to be so awesome.

Same goes for the 3DS.

People are entitled to their opinion. I never said otherwise.
The lack of every Snes game available is hardly an issue for me when there's so many more systems and games to choose from on Wii. Two or three good Snes games missing from VC isn't enough to sway my opinion. The Wii just has alot more options and I like that better.

It's called implication. Like Viewtiful_Joe said, you made it sound like it was a bad thing that others don't agree with you. If that's not what you meant, well, just make sure your words don't come off that way.

Anyways, I'm certainly enjoying the 3DS - Like the PSP, the ability to download games makes it very convenient when on the go, especially since I have a tendency to be indecisive and have to bring a backpack full of carts whenever I go on a long trip. No more of that with the 3DS! Now I just bring the system and I have dozens of games to choose from right on the thing. Sure, the DSi had this capability too, but I never had one so I can't compare. I'm just saying, out of the ones I own, it's definitely one of my favorites. It's just too bad I only have DS games to play on it outside of the downloadables, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I feel the same way. That honor used to go to the DS for me but now I think it may be shifting to 3DS. Although I base that on the fact that 3DS can play all of the great DS games plus everything its got going on. If we were to compare the DS library as a whole to the 3DS library as a whole (barring anything else besides games) 3DS has obviously got a long way to go but its rising very quickly. For me though, its not just about the games on 3DS. I listen to music a lot on it, love taking 3D photos and videos, love having the ability to stream Netflix, and I'm seriously addicted to Swapnote. So as a whole, 3DS is definitely on the fast track to taking the DS's crown for me.

Just because the Wii can play many SNES games doesn't mean it must be better, what defines a system is the new experiences it brings to the table. For the SNES, I only had Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country (both of which are still some of my favorites) and so the Wii has provided much more for me than the SNES ever did (Smash Bros, Zelda, SMGalaxy, Mario Kart, DKCR, etc.). However, for those who were informed enough to get the most out of what it provided, then it is very likely that the SNES did indeed bring the most to the table for them. I love the Wii and it is my favorite console but I only have a handful of (great!) games for it. Looking back, it seems like the SNES provided tons of great games as opposed to the few on the Wii. It's not fair to blame nostalgia when in all likelihood, those who owned both the Wii and the SNES probably got much more out of the latter.

Oh come on, the Tiger R-Zone is clearly the best game system.

Are you even reading what your typing? The SNES section of the VC doesn't even come close to the AAA titles it could have. Thank god this isn't about the N64 because I wouldn't even bother quoting you.
