Topic: The 3DS is now my favorite game system ever!

The launch might have been a mess, but Nintendo has certainly made up for it in recent months. The Ambassador games are a great publicity tool that have made many early adopters happy. Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 have been successful, and the eShop is expanding with weekly Virtual Console releases and titles like Pushmo and Mighty Switch Force. I think the 3DS is really hitting it's stride now. We have plenty of big games coming out in the next few months (Kid Icarus, Resident Evil, Revelations, Kingdom Hearts 3D, MGS Snake Eater 3D, etc.). And Swapnote is possibly the most fun non-gaming app I've ever used.

You do realize you are literally saying "this is my favorite system since the last Nintendo system", right?

Granted, 3DS is rapidly doing a 180 from a joke to awesome and next year should be fantastic and not overshadowed by the system it is supposedly replacing so that's good.

It remains to be seen if Nintendo starting (emphasis on starting) to "get" online won't be used to make up for the lack of sales for creative 3rd party games this gen likely leading to a huge decline in actual creative games outside of indy developers.

I think the 3DS is doing great, and has really made a comeback.

However, 3DS will never beat N64.

The 3DS is proving to be second best, but it'll take much more for me to put it above the Nintendo DS. It's on its way though.

Liking the system a lot more now that there are some good games for it. The D-pad is still pretty awful though.

I hate the L button. Not that its broken but rather its very awkward.

I have to say the launch was a mess but this is pretty much how I though it would end up. I figure that once the first holiday season came out the 3DS would really shine.

When Smash Bros. comes out on 3DS, then it will be my most favorite system of all time :3

I agree. I think the 3DS is my favorite game system ever, _{even though they didn't release Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga as an ambassador GBA game...}
Wait. Nintendo needs to make a new Mario and Luigi RPG; that would make me the happiest 3DS owner alive.

I love it too, It is probably my favorite system of all time as well, right up their with my Phat DS

Of course now that we can play some of the best GBA and NES games on our 3DS it can be considered "the" best handheld system that Nintendo has ever produced. With the transfer functionality already built in, we can expect to keep these current games on our systems (I hope) forever...
