^ 100% agree. Not only that, but the Mario games have been using the same style since the early GCN days. Series like Kirby mix it up with every single release, Mario should be free to do that as well. The only Mario games that don't use the Mario Party 4 model are spin-offs like Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi.

I just wish the Tanooki power-up would come from the Tanooki Suit, not the Super Leaf. Also, I wish you could fly in it and turn into a statue.

Everyone wishes for that.

And FLUDD could work if it's just a power up, and nothing more. Though I think we're more likely to see a water mario before Fludd returns.

And to turn the Tanooki suit into the statue, hold down and B...or Y if it's super Mario all-stars.
