Hate to sound like a graphics whore, but does anyone else think Mario 3D Land looks no better than a PSP game?

This is hilarious. I was just thinking yesterday about how 3DS graphics look better than PSP graphics. Only by a little bit, though.

Like I said before...people have been over exaggerating a bit on the system's graphics. Saying it looks better than a Wii and all that. >.>

The textures are much better, and the polygon count is a little higher, but that's about it.

Well, isn't that better graphics? Also, I did say only by a little bit.

Okay, I've just completed Super Mario 3D Land for the 2nd time (brand new file, 100% complete + beat all my previous speed records) and this time I didn't die at all (it's much easier once you know the stages). I'm kinda bummed there wasn't anything extra unlocked though (well, except the sparkly stars)...I was hoping that one picture was more than just a tease and I'd be able to use Peach, oh well. There's officially nothing left for me to do in that game now except to share my speed records with random people through StreetPass.

You can't play Super Mario online. >.>

I'm in Special World 3 btw. This game's starting to get good.

So, how long do the special worlds take to beat? It took me only 5:16 to get to the first w8 bowser castle, so asume im gonna beat it in 6 hours. Hopefully the special worlds are much harder and longer.

Depending on how good you are, it took me 4:30 or something like that to beat bowser, and once I got 100% (Beat everything with both bros. and what not) I had 17:29

this game would be perfect if it had a stronger story line and about 10 levels per world

Mario with an actual storyline? That's a recipe for disaster.

There only hand full levels i found to be quite interesting most them are in special worlds. I like fact game use's streetpass though i think this was after thought and they could have done abit more with it!

i love platform games
but theres sumthing thats not quite NEW enough get me excited?

Thankfully only payed £22 pound for it!

and i can see myself exchanging it for mario kart 7 when its out

i think its just not enough new stuff for me!

I would loved see galaxy levels thrown in more power ups like frog suit for example and more crazy designed levels and maybe different story.

Because seriously how dumb is the princess to get caught up with bowser for hundredth time.
Story is old as time its self and desperately in need of revamp!

i thing game deserves an 8/10 in my book.

Its great but mario needs to jump into the year 2011 because in my eyes hes still playing in past.

Except for the RPGs of course, lol
