I like turn-based combat A LOT so I'm very happy that its turn-based again. It looks great! Reminds me of Paper Mario 64 & the one for the Cube. I like Super Paper Mario for Wii, but I really missed the turn-based combat and exploration of the first two. I'm really glad Nintendo is bringing this to the 3DS. The trailer looks awesome.
I'm also really happy that Nintendo is taking Paper Mario back to it's turn-based roots. I'm still courious as to whether or not this game will serve as a prequel to the Nintendo 64 Paper Mario or a sequel to Super Paper Mario on the Wii.

Mario apparently has a Chain Chomp sidekick, so I doubt it's a remake.
And a long wiggler.
I think the Wiggler is just in the background. If he was a partner, he would be following Mario behind, not by his side.
Maybe they changed where partners walk. Remember, its 3D.

Wigglers are usually bad like chomp chomps correct? It seems that the wiggler is not attacking him like a wiggler should. Maybe I'm wrong. Don't bash me for making predictions.
The creatures in Mario games are only bad if they're in Bowser's Army. I mean, a goomba is not automatically evil just because he's a goomba, right?
