So do the Ace Attorney games have replay value? Im assuming no. Also how long do they games usually take to beat?
In the sense that there's multiplayer or anything else to do in the games outside of playing through the cases? No. If you replay them, it'll be because you want to experience the story again, like you do with a favorite book or TV show.
And 20 hours from beginning to end sounds about right for most AA games.
The demo was great. I loved the anime scenes but I couldn't help but feel as it the demo was trying really hard to make the gamer think Thena was cool. It was like... every scene in the game kept saying; "Look at Thena! Look at Thena! She's 18 and awesome!". I kinda think her personality falls under the CLASSIC generic anime female character. Lol I can literally think of several anime women who act JUST like Thena but its whatever. I LIKE Thena so its all good. Ace Attorney's thoughts during every scene in the game is hilarious. I'm buying the game.
I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

The demo definitely left me wanting more. Can't wait till release. Love the character animations. Although they're 3D models, they maintain that classic PW feel.
I wish I could play the demo, but I need to finish the other games first...or do I???
Now I haven't played but the first one but I believe I didn't see anything at least in the demo that would ruin the other games you are playing. At least nothing you couldn't see in trailers on youtube!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
Amazing demo. It was way better than I thought it'd be. I love the music and graphics, they're very nice. I'm getting this for sure, but I'm going to play Apollo Justice first.
I made a rather un-masculine giggle when they announced in the ND that the demo was available. I ended up having a lot of fun with it, just as I knew I would.
Now, back to my quest to finish re-playing Apollo Justice by October 24th.
Well, the news that Ace Attorney would be digital only left me burnt out on being excited for any news regarding it for a time, but after playing the demo this morning I was pretty happy. I vowed not to support the game after Capcom's decision, but now maybe I will get the game. I still feel very conflicted about the whole affair, and perhaps I still won't get it, but who knows.
In any case, I found something interesting on Capcom's blog. They have an article that in-depth discusses the localization process that Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies went through, mainly focusing on Simon Blackquill's background and character: http://www.capcom-unity.com/zeroobjections/blog/2013/10/02/ph...
Also, the downloadable costume pack will be available for free from Oct. 24th to Nov. 7th - after that they'll be $.99. Which is neat, I guess - "nothing" is the only price I would've paid for such superfluous DLC.
Still no word yet on how much the DLC case will cost, though, or exactly when it will be released.
A great appetizer for the actual game. I was going to buy it anyway but this just cemented my purchase.
Few things stuck out though: the vocabulary and measurements were all American even in the European demo. Sure, I can convert inches to cm in my head, but I still hope they'll localise those too to save me the trouble.
And I agree with @Blastoise-san they were trying too hard with Athenas character. Hopefully it's just in the demo, if they wanted to introduce her quickly.
On that note Athena, Apollo and Juniper Woods? What's next, Zeus Bolt?
Currently on the plate:

Chivalry
Super Mario 3D World – Finishing the last few levels.
