Its funny, this like Fire Emblem Awakening. In my town at least, there was a limited amount of physical copies..... Nintendo thought the same thing about that game Capcom thinks about this game! D:
Ah, (a very belated) thanks RL, for fixing that. I know it worked when I first posted it, but I can't explain what happened.
In any case. I found this guy on youtube who translated the japanese demo of case 1. The video is below, for those who are interested/ don't care about spoiling themselves. They even reference the fact that there are playing a demo, which I found hilarious:
Also, and this is very important! He is also translating the entirety of Ace Attorney Investigations 2. I'll post a link to the beginning of case 1, but for those who worry that he'll give up at the end of case 1 like everyone before him, worry not: He is currently finishing case 2 and plans to start case 3 within the next few days. So he is very serious and dedicated. I will still get the game is Capcom ever releases it, but for right now, I am very excited to finally know what happens in AAI2, it was long overdue!
I'm pretty much on media blackout for Dual Destinies from now until release, but just now I upgraded my SD Card in preparation for this game.
Same here. I want to be completely surprised with this one... still laughing over the fact it's a digital release only in Europe. Probably because they're gonna release a ton of DLC for it...
Love my 3DS, Fighting games and Zombies. Enuff' said. Check out my website for reviews! MaxiMillion Reviews ~~~~~~~~~~ Currently Playing: Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Dream Address: 6200-2457-2458), W...
Not even gonna link to it because the link itself spoils it but I just read on the DLC case and it is the best thing ever. It is not traditional story spoilers but it is too amazing to spoil nonetheless.

I did catch that. It sounds like all I've ever wanted in an Ace Attorney game.
This looks great. I really want to get into Ace Attorney but I've put off buying the first game for so long now.
Wait! First game! How many are there?!
Just to further elaborate on what CanisWolfred said, so far there's:
1) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
2) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All
3) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations
4) Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
5) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies (this one)
And then there are the side-games/spin-offs:
-Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth (takes place sometime between 3 and 4)
-Gyakuten Kenji 2 (AAI's Japan-only sequel)
-Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney (also Japan-only, exists in its own universe)
you might be screwed with Apollo Justice (depending on how much it is on eBay or whatever) but the first 3 games are on Wiiware and I believe iOS so you can still get them pretty easily. Even if you don't care about following the continuity (they tend to do a good job at getting newbies up to speed in every game), might be a good idea to try the first game for cheaper at the very least.
FWIW, the DS versions of the main games are all marked at less than $20 new at Amazon right now (even Justice for All, which is usually twice as expensive there as any of the other Ace Attorney games), and Ace Attorney Investigations is in the same price range too.
I've been meaning to get into the Ace Attorney games by ordering the Nintendo DS releases off of Amazon, and that might be as far as I go as I'm not too fond of the fact that this game will be digital only. Otherwise, I would've made Dual Destinies my first experience in the series. I might still get it if I really enjoy the previous entries.
This gives me a little over a month to finish up Bridge to the Turnabout (probably my favorite case in the entire series, though I'm sure that's hardly a shock to anyone that's played through it) and replay Apollo Justice. With how little I've been gaming lately, I'll probably be cutting it close.
I'm more concerned with how long it'll take me to actually download my copy of AA5; my crappy router doesn't hinder much in the way of other things, usually, but on a bad day, it can take half an hour to download even the smallest things from the 3DS eShop.
