Angry Birds is a stupid game to have as a retail game. In fact, it's a stupid game in the first place. Shouldn't cost $1 dollar if it's that simple.
I would only buy it if it has the following:
Challenge mode
Achievement of some sort
More levels
DLC
Upgrades
Maybe the game is simple, but that doesn't mean it's a bad game. I've played in the PSP and PS3 (was a Mini) and was entertaining because it's simple. a game in tit's purest form. Just throw birds to pigs and have fun. The price tag will be a little high but it will include the original game, the Seasons sequel and the Rio sequel. That's a lot of levels and they can last lots of hours with a simple gameplay. Also, if you want all the secret eggs and stars, that will be a lot of more hours. OKay, the 1$/€ price tag iut's because in the mobile world, it's the standart price for a game because people wont pay too much for a game that they will play while waiting in the subway, even if it costs millions to make. For example, the Angry Birds games for PC in Zavvi are 9,19 € with a discount each one because in PC "it seems bigger" on PC (hope you understand this).
So 45€ for three games that i now they will last me weeks with updated graphics and Street Pass? Doesn't seems so bad after all. It could be a direct port with crap graphics after all.
I'm not saying it's a bad game. But the fact that it's coming to retail the first time ever, it can be worrying to see how they will handle a 3 game collection.
Who knows? Maybe it will be on as a digital download, which is how I like it.

It's not the frst time they go retail. They became retail in PC. It wont be cheap, we are talking about Activision being the producers. At least it's not EA.
One things that bug me in this is that they laugh about the "49$ pieces of plastic" ( https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2011/03/angry_birds_dev_call... ) and now they go on them... It's a budget game (even if I like it) but only 3 out of 4 games and probably "full price" wow! You can play it for free on Android and Facebook (with update, upgrade, etc), you can play it for .99$ each on iPod touch (iPhone) (with update, upgrade, etc) and now they want us to buy a 40$ that didn't even feature all 4 games, won't get any update, upgrade, etc... Hummmm somethings tell me that even if I like this game I'll probably pass...
Sorry if my english isn't good... At least I try :-)
I just hope he gets fired for that. Smartphones aren't gaming systems. Though to be honest there are some amazing ports and games on smartphones (Final Fantasy II, Cut the Rope, ETC)

FFIII (aka VI) is now on the Android for purchase. Looks great too on it.

Correction, that Final Fantasy III, the genuine FInal Fantasy III.
1. Why does this not include Angry Birds Space? This is a collection it should include all of the games, they can't say that it is too new because it only costs $1 so being new isn't a problem.
2. Why is this retail? The games combined cost $3 and with the additions it would only make it $10 max. I can't even see myself paying $20 for this, if not more. This should have been an eShop release for $10 or less.
If I can get this for like $10 I will get it. I predict Streetpass will be used for comparing high scores and then trying to challenge them like in NSMB2's coin rush.
Space was also (perhaps for a limited time) free on android. I would pay $ 300 for a game that had Samus killing all these birds and pigs in space. Or perhaps Browser roasting them in fire. Or Jack from Mad world gutting them with a chainsaw
Anything along those lines really.

It is a $49 piece of plastic...when a budget game like Angry Birds is on it. But when it's something bigger, it's a real game. This $30 price is a joke, I'll wait for Angry Birds Space on the eShop for a reasonable price of $8. And if that doesn't happen, I'll just settle for the free version w/ ads on Google Chrome.

That comment is what I immediately thought of. They must think we're a bunch of suckers that will pay anything for a game just because it comes on a piece of plastic.
Nintendo should be lucky, that the best video game makers in the world, is blessing their gimmicky 3DS console, with AngryBirds.
It will makes that "49$ pieces of plastic" worth it's price.

Ha, you know - you are right! Gosh, I don't think I'll get III. I've heard it was sorta meh - esp compared to VI.....and the awesome FFIV.
