I'm not buying a 3DS to play old games in 3D.
Well, I don't have a lot of history with retro games, only having been old enough to really enjoy video games since about the Gamecube's life.So basically, I dunno.
Donkey Kong Country

easy... make the background layers actually go back into the screen instead of just giving the illusion of going back into the screen via parallax. A Link to the Past would be a really nice game to see remade but, as PrizzaParty said, it's hard to imagine how it would be changed to "3D" given it's a flat world. Maybe they'd play around with walking up and down stairs? Walls? Trees?
Some good Aussie musics: King Gizzard, Pond, The Avalanches

What classic games do you guys want to see remastered in 3d.Super Mario World and Super Metroid are mine. It would be interesting to see a link to the past in 3d, i have no idea how that would work.
Along with your picks I'd have to add A Link to the Past, Punch Out!! Zelda 1 and Donkey Kong.

None, thank you. Do we really need to encourage Nintendo to constantly re-release all of their past hits? How about new franchises instead?

I'd brace yourself for disappointment because "bringing old games back in 3D" appears to be a big part of Nintendo's strategy.

I'm buying a 3DS to play old games in 2D. Thanks Virtual Console!
I am way too lazy to think of something clever.
Whoa. That is beautifully made.

Nintendo should remake it like that on the 3ds for the 25th anniversary of zelda.

Kirby Tilt & Tumble.
Of course it is, it's the easiest thing in the world and it'll make a lot of money.
Fortunately I'll be here (most likely) to complain about the lack of new games and show my fellow NLers the light.

I already play any handheld game on my phone for free. Thank you Android market! lol
Even though it's a bit of a kiddy game, it was a kiddy game I used to play a lot. I want to see Yoshi's Story remade with 3D effects. The pop-up paper book story mode would accept those 3D effects outstandingly.

If they made a 3D ALttP remake like THAT I would buy it the day it came out

I think it's girly more than it is kiddy. I never played it, but I felt uncomfortable just watching someone play it on Youtube. Too many hearts...and the Yoshi's singing was...cute, I guess, but it offended my masculinity. Not even Yoshi's Island did that.

I don't think thats what Nintendo meant with "3D Classics"
Men who fear girly things actually like them in secret. Just saying.
So go play Yoshi Story and Crafting Mama in public ASAP

No, probably not, but in my opinion, I don't limit them to the meaning of just 3Ding old 2d games. I think they also can do 3D polygon games into 3D stereoscopic (if that's the word) view, like the N64 games. To me, the N64 is a classic now. I'm old. But where you might be right, is that the game is a little big to be a download I think... so it would be better to release it as a game all on its own. I wouldn't pay 40 for it though.
