I just got my COPY OF MARIO 3D WORLD and THIS IS GORGEOUS ON MY 50 inch TV in 1080p.

I think it might just be to use some of their assets into gaming that is it because if nintendo goes into mobile gaming then consoles are over with.

Nintendo want to cater to both Hardcore and core gamers so for that matter they want to push nintendo away by those comments. But it's all about software if Assasins creed come to many console the buyer pick the one with the features he or she wants. And I chose wii u because of wiimotes and gamepad features so it doesn't matter about the platform. When the instal base will be big enough for huge profit you will see all the games you want on Wii U and with QUALITY. That is why i'm not getting a PS4 or XB1 which give me the same experience with better graphics that my gaming computer does already.

NOW I WANT TO SEE the U competing with PC. We have touch controls so I want Age of empire on the Wii U. Or Roller Coaster Tycoon.

@rjejr I think they are branding "wii sport" series with a "U" same thing with "wii party" series and "wii fit" thus it makes them respectively "Wii sport U", "wii party U", "wii fit U". So it is fair to call the the "Wii U" the "U".

I disagree completely with him, We need innovation, not better version of the same thing because innovation create imagination if we keep on working the same stuff and make it easy for developper to do what they did decades and decades NOTHING WILL CHANGE GAMING.

I don't know for you guys but my load time is less than a minute and I agree with the texture part.

one thing to notice is that they did all that to favor going 720p. So it is not a big deal it is patchable if they find a faster code for implementing it.

I think the WIi U was built with External HDD in the primary mind, I got my 1Tb for 50 dollars and whenever there is an install since I buy mostly off the eshop it goes straight to the external no question asked.

This is just a thing to diss the Wii U I believe. Because on my side I think it was a pretty good move from nintendo.

Think about it, I can have as many DLCs as I want without having to delete some games 850GB more to go.

The funny thing I would like to say is that the Wii U in its final form will support 2 gamepads, it will be very interesting to see how multiplayer and single player gameplays are going to be affected by that..

The console war is going to be epic, with nintendo leading I don't see XB ONE and PS4 adding 2 controllers but I could see nintendo adding cloud components synced with miiverse..

i think nintendo choice to go with external hard is the best because I got a 2tb for 70 bucks so it is really worth it to my opinion.

That is a very good move from nintendo. We still get a private Wii U owned social network but we are sharing selected info to the other social networks. Thus creating not closed and secret group but a private and public group. This will boast the Wii U: you like it, you want it: BUY A Wii U!!
